philosophy purity exfoliating clay mask 75ml

I have combination skin type and sensitive, around nose and chin is oily and dry forehead. This is my first time trying this philosophy purity exfoliating clay mask. The mask smells good and helps with acne and blackheads. The tube is 75ml and cost £21 which is expensive. However leaves your skin feeling smooth and clean. Didn’t irritate my skin and I use it 2 twice a week for 20 mins. You need small amount and should last time few months.

Although this mask is expensive, it does clean out your pores and I feel like using it twice a week would be a good routine for keeping your skin clear. I use it mostly on my nose and extend it to my chin and sometimes my forehead, but I don’t tend to use it over my whole face. It’s good it you time washing it off with having a shower as it’s hard to get rid of all the tiny bits with a face cloth, a rinse in the shower seems to work best for me.

This face mask is very lovely, it smells citrusy and feels nice on your face; but I can't get over the price!I don't suffer too badly with blackheads but the very few I do get (mainly on the end of my nose) have been better for the last few weeks of using this. It also leaves my skin feeling very soft and clean. I love the lemon smell too, it's really refreshing.Use is really easy, it applies really well and a little bit goes quite a long way. When it dried and I was ready to wash it off I applied a little water to my hands and rubbed in circle motions, this gives an exfoliating effect and leaves your face feeling well scrubbed and clean.One issue I have is with the price, £28.99 at the time of my review. Whilst I understand this is a premium product I still think this is way too much for a face mask. The product should last me around 2 months with around 2/3 applications a day, so if I was to purchase this regularly I would find myself spending a lot of money! This is a huge negative for me, as a mum of 2 I don't like over spending on things like this and much prefer bargains.Over all it is lovely, and if you enjoy premium face masks and don't mind the high price then you should love this. But for me, it just costs too much to be worth it.

This is a strange one for me. I thought it was a peel off but it’s not. I put it on and it dried quickly and felt ok skin felt tight underneath but nothing uncomfortable. Then came the wash off I tried to do it little by little and just ended up looking like a clown with a white face lol. It took me a bit of time to get it off and had to use a flannel as it was becoming impossible. My skin felt ok afterwards nothing special but was fun taking it off.

This is a little of both worlds, it's a mask but it has the granular consistency of an exfoliator. Because of that, it's pretty much the best of both worlds.It's easily applied and it really doesn't take much to get full-face coverage. Rubbing the clay on exfoliates the skin but once left it quickly thickens and tightens as a mask does. Skin is cleaned, tightened, and to the touch softened.At £28 though, it's expensive and but... the amount that you need coupled with the amount you get, I think, does give good value for money.

Nice exfoliating clay mask by Philosophy.Very easy to spread and dries without irritating my skin. Immediately helped the appearance of oil and pores after first use.I've been using this once per week for a month now and my skin has massively improved. My teenage son is also less spotty and his face isn't as red now.Would buy again.

This product is a clay face mask/exfoliator, which is good for combination skin and it is designed to draw out and scrub away impurities. It’s made by Philosophy, who are a quality skincare brand, and this particular product is the number one best selling mask in the USA.I liked the creamy consistency of the mask which made it easy to reply and a lot better than some of the more watery masks that you can get. I also like that as well as being a mask, it’s also an exfoliator as I always love a multitasking product! You only need a small amount, so although the tube seems quite small, it will hopefully last a long while.I found the mask easy to apply and my skin felt squeaky clean afterwards. I should say that I don’t think it’s wise to leave this on any longer than the allotted time, as I did that once and my skin started to feel quite tight and when I removed the mask my face was a bit red for about an hour afterwards. I really like the clean feeling that you get from it and this is definitely a product that is good for combination skin, especially those with more of a tendency towards oiliness. I can see why it’s popular and although it seems quite expensive, as I said, I think it will last a while.
