Great tool. Very precise
This is easy to use and very precise. Also small and light to tote around.

Consistent stripping for finer gauge wires
I bought this stripper because my other strippers only go down to 22 AWG and I needed to work with some finer gauge wires. I also purchased the 26 - 36 AWG version. This stripper is a compact and clever design that gives consistent stripping results. Maybe I missed them, but I did not see anything in the way of instructions. However, once you have it in your hands, you can see how it works. One red slider sets the wire gauge and another sets the strip length. You set these first, then release the small strip lever catch to open the strip blades. Then insert the wire until you feel it hit the stop. Close the strip blade by pressing the red button on the strip blade lever and pull back on the wire to complete the strip. You insert and strip one wire at a time, and because the stripping blade is at least 1/4" back from the insertion point, individual wires need to be separated from cables or ribbons about 1/2" to easily insert the wire to be stripped. It seems like a minor limitation, though, and shouldn't be a problem for most cases. It's a little pricey for a wire stripper, but also sort of unique, and I felt it was worth the cost. The body is mostly plastic, but it seems sturdy. Time will tell for durability.

Great for electronics hobbyist
This is perfect for someone that's always breadboarding, or proto-boarding...and stripping whatever wire you happen to pull out of the "random wire box"...or bits of cat-5 you happen to be using.

Works great!
This is a nifty little wire stripper.Ive used it a few times so far for repeated lengths to crimp.I have found it easy to use. Only a couple of annoyances. The part of the insulation that comes off can sometimes get stuck. If you choose the wrong wire gauge, it can rip the conductors.Other then that, it’s a great tool to have on the bench. I can definitely recommend it.

Best wire stripper for small conductors
I have to wire hvac controls sometimes and find most strippers don’t do gauges 18 or smaller very well. So I tried this style and it’s awesome. I love it.

Your answer for Molex Mini-fit
The media could not be loaded. Overall very happy with this product. only thing keeping it from a 5-star review is sometimes the insulation discards will not eject from the tool, requiring a percussive whack.A little more specs on the product would be nice, but personally i observe a minimum strip length about 3.7mmIts mostly plastic, except for the cutting blade and pivot, but the plastic is a high quality that feels good (akin to fiberglass reinforced)

Great tool for working with 18-28 awg wire
Debating to spend the money for something like this was about a week worth of going back and forth. After getting fed up with the junk pocket wire strippers for these small wires I decided to get it. WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG!!? Wow, right after getting my shipment I put it to work, I couldn't be happier. Time saving, material saving and far faster and consistent. This will forever be in my took kit!

Can save a lot of time during certain operations
The quality is what one has come to expect of German engineering, the compact size fits into any toolbox or trouser pocket and since the adjustments are not lost between operations, certain repetitive tasks can be executed quicker than with pliers or a pocket knife. Especially with tiny wires, with which «just a little too much» can quickly lead to an «oops» moment, this useful tool can come in very handy.Recommended.
