Great "fanning powder" to unstick your playing and tarot card decks
I didn't buy this as marking chalk, but as playing card / tarot card fanning powder. The ingredient in this is zinc stearate, which performers use to reduce the friction of cards. I have tarot decks that clump or stick together when flipping through and it was driving me crazy! I brushed some of this on the fronts and backs, and now they slide around wonderfully. I'm not sure yet how long it will last on the cards, but I won't mind reapplying occasionally to be able to use the decks without frustration.

Great for use with a longarm
I have a longarm quilting machine and most marking chalks bounce off while the machine is stitching and essentially disappear. I was delighted to find that this product does not come off during quilting on my longarm. So I can finish stitching out a marked design without the mark vanishing. After my quilting is complete, it is easy to steam away the chalk marks.

Nothing bad not what I expected
Some slides I could move the cards smoothly, fanning not so much

I can't get this chalk to transfer onto my quilt fabric at all. This is not worth buying. I am really disappointed in this product.
