Furutech104-D Carbon Fiber Hi-Performance Duplex Outlet Cover Plate

Did I notice a difference in sound or video quality? No! I can't see how a wall outlet cover can do such a thing... is it well made? Yes, the best cover I've ever felt hands down, real carbon fiber, very strong, will not crack or bend. If you already have a furutech outlet, then I will highly recommend this, because this really blends beautifully with those outlets, the hiend ones that is. This is really for showing off the outlet, you have an expensive stereo, and want to show off your wall outlet, get it if it's going to be within eye view of people, if not, then it's a matter of choice for yourself.

This little item actually did make a difference. I replaced my plastic outlet cover with this carbon cover from Furutech, and my sound improved. I wouldn't say that the sound difference was drastic, but it was noticeable. I am using a Sony STR-1080 av receiver and Klipsch speakers and this little Furutech outlet cover definitely improved my sound. The most obvious difference is, the sound was louder after installing the device. I actually had to turn down my subwoofer a little, as the loudness in bass was most noticeable. If you want a slight upgrade for about a hundred bucks, this outlet cover is a good investment.

Solid and heavy. The carbon fiber look doesn't stand out from a distance though so that's a wasted feature.

This is well worth the price. It really makes a difference in audio/video quality improvement. I'm going to order a second one.
