Our dog suffered from severe allergies and dermatis to the point of he was losing his fur. We tried everything over the counter and prescription. The vet had us try apoquel which worked a bit but at the dose he needed would have cost almost $400/mo. The vet even tried steroids which also worked but we didn't want to do long term due to side effects. A family member who was a breeder recommended this to boost his immune system. We weren't getting our hopes up but figured we tried everything else and it was made for sporting, heavy working dogs. It has done better than we could have ever hoped. Not only has his fur stopped falling out and dry skin gotten so much better but the fur has grown completely back. He still has some of the dark spots but they are small and fewer. I would recommend trying this to anyone. He still has allergies but they are more manageable and it was a cost effective alternative to prescripts with side effects. Our dog doesn't like the taste but a little beef broth fixed that.

I found out that my 10 year old dog (at the time) was suffering from extremely low red blood cells and severe anemia when I brought him to the vet for a routine visit. His new vet took him off the steroids as they were clearly either ineffective or doing him harm and then the ONLY thing that has changed in his regime has been him receiving a healthy pour of the canine red cell in his food twice a day. This was almost 2 years ago and Eli has just celebrated his 12th birthday. He is more lively and more active than he has been in so many years. His coat is absolutely beautiful and full, he recovers from injuries so fast. This product saved my dogs life and I think if your situation sounds like mine at all, you should give it a try. My dog doesn't much like the taste of it but if I mix it with some wet food or peanut butter, he eats it no problem.

Gave this to my dog after she had surgery to help build her blood back up. Her labs came back better on her follow up.

This product is helpful with older dogs or dogs recovering from an illness to boost them back up to normal.I mostly use this on my old guys to help them feel a little peppier.It seems to give them a bit of a pick me up

I rescued this girl she came to me so thin and no will to live could not get up and would not eat I started giving her red cell with her food she started eating and gaining some weight and with some encouragement from the our dogs and family she is a whole new dog today I recommend this product my dogs love it and it has helped every dog I have .

My dogs wouldn't touch it, so I tasted it, and it is sickening sweet! Sweetened with saccharin. Also contains artificial colors of an undisclosed nature. Also it takes a lot-the 32 oz bottle would only last my 3 dogs for 6 days. The vitamins and minerals sounded good, but too much junk in there. I will not purchase again. I used to use the horse version without any problems. Disappointed.
