These fine French Cocoa Dusted Truffles from Mathez Chocolatier come in a pack of 2 x 500g decorated tins and are perfect to give as gifts or to share between friends. Chocolate Truffles are made of chocolate ganache, a mixture of chocolate and cream that is melted together and rolled into balls, before being dusted in cocoa powder. Mathez has been making chocolate for over 80 years and are one of the leading French producers of dusted truffles. Mathez does not use palm oil in its truffles and uses only the highest quality ingredients to ensure there is no compromise on taste.

Rich in flavour
If you like truffles rich and full of flavour, not too mild or too sweet, then these are for you! The texture is smooth and just as it should be - they are French-made and the real thing - and the flavour is deep. Per tradition, they are coated in cocoa powder and not small chocolate beads etc. They are not especially expensive and could form an ideal Xmas gift. The two tins are gift boxed as a pair and each tin contain two sealed foil bags to help keep them fresh.Whether or not they are the best available at the price is difficult to say as other French brands were previously purchased at different times over several Xmas seasons but flavours were alcohol-enhanced (brandy as recalled) in one type and the other was less rich but otherwise very similar in appearance.

Delivered all melted and solidified in one blob!
Damaged product, all melted together. Do not buy as they are not eatable in the condition delivered. Complete waste of money and an utter embarrassment as they were given as a present to our friends!((

Regret buying this on Amazon!
Regret buying this on Amazon!A friend of mine introduced these to my family (she bought it from COSTCO) , we loved it so much as it was perfectly powdered and flavoured little size truffles. Since I found the same on Amazon I placed an order and it came well in time and packaging, but to my surprise once opened they were all melted in their silver packs and rather than little truffles they were a big chunk of chocolate only. Really disappointed!!!Never going to buy again!

Soooo yummy
Had some of these gifted to me at Christmas, OMG! a new addiction was born! So moreishly delicious I would recommend these to everyone. The good thing is that they are so rich, you can't eat that many so they will last you a while, a week or two at least I would say.....

The 'crack' of Chocolate Truffles!
I bought these as a gift for friends; I know how delicious they are, as I have received them as a gift previously. They are, as proclaimed by a happy recipient: "The chocolate truffle version of Crack" and "The most moreish chocolate I have ever tasted" Thoroughly recommended. The only caveat being that you will want more!!

Scrumptious
Just adore these melt in the mouth chocolates. Pure luxury and not for sharing or is that just Me? Don’t chew, just suck and enjoy. If you make the same mistake as me...putting in a lovely sweet display and then lighting a candle nearby you will end up with fondue....but no waste as a few marshmallows and biscuits later made it a lovely treat.

Don’t order in hot weather!
Our first order was perfect, so we ordered again. When the second order arrived all the truffles were melted and fused into one big lump.I’m going to wait until November before I order again, they are very good.

A real disappointment
We were all looking forward to trying these, but the truffles are fused into solid lumps and are thus distinctly less appealing. The weather hasn't been hot here and the package was taken indoors on delivery, so maybe they're old stock or have been stored badly. Wish I hadn't ordered them.
