I've used the Panasonic P104 before and that machine had an English manual. This one is all Japanese but with the illustrations along with help from the Panasonic P104 manual (with recipes in English too), we were able to figure this machine out.Basic bread making:1. Use the arrow buttons to select your menu item.2. Put all ingredients (except yeast) in the pan fitted with the mixer attachment.3. Put your yeast in the yeast dispenser.4. Press the Start button (big square button).We also bought a convertor to use with the bread maker to ensure the wattage difference doesn't affect the life of the machine.If you want a Japanese machine but this one is too much trouble, Zojurushi makes a US version bread maker.
