Others had said how quiet this kettle was, I haven’t had he same experience. It’s fairly noisy but it’s not an issue. Does what you’d expect of a kettle.

Good flavour, boils fast and pours well.However, the lid sticks (button does not open, have to prod it until it opens) and it's noisy as all hell when boiling.On balance, happy enough with it, but there's room for improvement.

It is difficult to see the water level

I am delighted with this kettle. The main body is lined with stainless steel which came as a nice surprise. For the cost of this kettle I wasn't expecting this to be the case. The push button lid release allows for easy access and filling. The power button lever lights up blue to let you know water is heating. Any excess cable can be recoiled within the base, so it looks neat & tidy. Oh, did I mention that it is lightweight? One very slight niggle is that the water fill level could be clearer, but I can live with it. Over all a great kettle and good value for money. A definite thumbs up!

This kettle is not to British standard anymore it is manufactured 19th February 1984 does not even have a moulded plug!? I complained on delivery because of this and it was marked, brought another as was told next would be fine but again made 19th February 1984 Amazon must of got these for £1 each. I'm sure it is illegal to sell electrical goods this out of date.
