Korean Script Hacking: The optimal pathway to learning the Korean alphabet (Teach Yourself)

Great book. Makes learning Korean easier.
This is a great supplement to any Korean course you're currently learning. This goes deep into depth with the symbols and the syllabary, more than many of the Korean courses offered do. I highly recommend going through this book first and then foraying into learning Korean.

Wow. Just wow!!
Honestly it really made sense the way that it was laid out and the order the lessons were put in. It’s really good and it really helped me with being able to read Korean. I’m only halfway through and I can already do so much. I recommend this to anyone and everyone who wants to learn Korean. The author is correct that you should learn the letters first. It’s best not depend on the romanisation if you really want to learn Korean as it’s like learning how English sounds but not what the letters mean- doesn’t make sense that way

Brilliant
Loved the conciseness of the book.Learnt to read Hangul in a very efficient manner. The book sets everything logically. However, you need to read additional Korean books to reinforce and familiarise the letters you learned from this book(obviously). That way you are able to read it logically and fluidly.Great book for people who want to start off by reading Korean!

Good for ABSOLUTE beginners, less helpful if you already have a slight grasp of the alphabet
This is a very straightforward and simple book, especially for absolute beginners. Everything is presented logically. However, this would be best for people who haven't had any exposure to the alphabet. After using Duolingo for a few weeks, I realised that I wouldn't really be learning a lot of new material from this book. Also, I didn't realise that half the book was full of blank pages for writing practice..... Anyways, I liked the sections where real signs and posters are featured in the book, which gave it some good real life reading practice. If you've never studied Hangul before, I'd say go for it. If you already have a little experience, this probably won't be that useful.
