These Mount flat, have nice screens on the inside of them to prevent bugs, well made.I would purchase again.

This is larger than the original so I had to modify the siding but the product itself was good to work with and so far is working well.

Well made, but much more expensive than I expected to have to pay for PVC and some screening. Looks nice installed in the door to my well pump house (as part of a ventilation strategy to keep the enclosed space dry and clear of the sulfur fumes released during treatment of the well water).

My old house needed attic ventilation. This vent worked perfectly. I had to remove some vinyl siding and cut a 10 x 16 hole into the house. I then nailed the back portion and used self adhering flashing to seal it. I then trimmed and put the vinyl back. Total 2 hours.

Bought two for our she'd to ventilate better during the summer. Worked as intended.

Everything about the product works great -- but it is not the standard size of an attic gable vent opening. The guys working had to shim wood pieces to make it fit. And this means I have less ventilation in my attic, which is not desirable. I just have no idea why they would make them the wrong size. The opening is 12" x 18", but these vents are 12" x 18" on the OUTER FRAME. The opening is smaller.

I like the 2 piece construction.
