Uses standard SAE nuts. Post are long enough to get multiple connectors on. Good insulation walling off the different posts, much less worry of connections shorting. All the terminals are clearly marked and easy to figure out which wire goes where. After turning a few times, smooth operation. Good spring action, moving start position back to the run/ign position ( bought different brand for friend, had to manually move it back, or starter was still engaged). Body has some heft to it. Appears to be quality material on outside. Case is nicely machined and finished. I will assume, innards are of same quality. Should last a while. Comes with two GM like Square keys ... Teeth on keys appear to have at least one pass on wire brush to remove any loose hanging material. Go in and out of key slot, fairly smoothly. More keys are inserted and removed, smoother that action will become. Rather than Hot Wire my car and, use Temp Starter Cables, to bump engine over and start while working on it under the hood, is just as easy to disconnect car's wiring and wire up this switch. If you are thinking, of replacing dash mounted Ign switch and keyed lock, I do not think you will go wrong with this 3 way Universal Ign Sw. Vendor is great, fair price and quick shipping.Some how, Between time it arrived and I got around to wiring, I lost the switch. Ordered another one from same Vendor. You know it, with in 20 minutes of delivery to my door, I found the 1st one. LOLNow, I have 2 quality Ign Switches. I am sure with many of my friends having older cars with dash mounted ignition switches, that do not need to be original style for restorations, I will be giving it to some one soon enough.

Works fine for couple days. Now have to shake key when in start position to energize starter solenoid

Just what I was looking for to fix my old Jeep cj5 matched it up with a new ez wiring harness I picked up on Amazon as well.

Used to replace a UTV ignition switch. My old ignition switch was pretty sad looking and I wanted something with a better look to it.

I needed a switch for an old vehicle I have and this seems built a little better than the last one I had in it.

Worked for a while then would fail intermittently. Drove me crazy trying to find what the problem was. Finally just wired around the switch and it works fine now.
