Does useful stuff.
There's nothing on this planet that I've found that's 100% at picking up pet hair. The closest thing to 100% that I've found are sticky lint rollers, but one uses up a lot of sheets picking up a lot of pet hair. While this device doesn't pick up everything, it's cheap, it's reusable, and it picks up a significant fraction of the pet hair on a surface. At the very least, it cuts down on the number of lint roller sheets one needs to use to get bedding or upholstery mostly pet hair free. The biggest downside is that it's pretty fragile. If you drop it on a hard surface, expect it to break. However, the bottom line is that it's good value for the money and does a decent job of picking up pet hair, so I'm happy with it. Even if I do break it, I would probably buy another one at the price I paid for this one.

Good enough that I can get rid of the tape rollers
We have two cats and a fluffy dog. There is pet hair everywhere... but there is less pet hair on clothes and furniture now that I have this. This is the second lint brush that I've tried, so I am not an expert on them, but this does work well enough that I don't need to buy any more tape rollers to de-lint myself when I get dressed up.The first lint brush I tried was pretty useless, so I had to stick with the tape rollers. :)However, unlike most of the reviewers here, I have not gotten the hang of the swivel feature for this brush (and I have been trying). When I have tried it, the brush head just flips all the way up, so I don't use the swivel at all. Also, even after about six weeks of use, the fibers in the brush are starting to show very faint signs of wear. It does not look like it is going to last much more than a year or so. That's a reasonable lifetime for a product these days, but what I really want are things that will last much longer.Still, it works well, it is affordable, and the handle is comfortable. Now I can get rid of the tape rollers... really disliked how wasteful tossing away all that tape was, and they never worked really well to begin with.

Super Brush!
What is this brush?Do a search for INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OFFICE UK, then Online Services. ([...]) Search for Patent GB2204230A and click on Original Document. It is an amazing piece of work.We have had one one these brushes for over twenty years. When it broke I couldn't find a replacement. I did a search of the patent numbers on the original brush and found the patent had expired and the company was apparently out of business. I was about ready to give up when I finally ran across these. So I bought eight! They are that good. My kids have been keeping an eye out for one since they moved out and now we have spares. Very handy since we all have cats and dogs.On the new ones the plastic is not as heavy duty as the original but the brush and swivel work every bit as well.Update 9/25/2013: Went online to search for patent to show someone. Apparently it has been deleted. The original company was based in Hong Kong. When Hong Kong was returned to China the company relocated to Great Britain but on paper only. Apparently once the patent expired the Chinese factory started exporting them again. (Just my guess.)

Broke on first use
Given the positive reviews, I bought 3 of these. They seemed a great price and I intended placing them in our vehicles and in the kitchen. However two of them broke on the first use, when brushing a pair of trousers, one after another. The third on a different day, brushing a sweater. The first two came apart on the first stroke! The third one broke the third time it was used. i'd understand one breaking but the three of them, in light, normal use?The plastic that attached the lint removing section to the handle is broken I.e. It did not simply coming apart in a way that is repairable. there is no way to put the brushes back together. The brush piece, that is the portion with the lint removing surface, is too small to use by itself. They are a total waste of money.Do not buy.

Great for removing hair but plastic connection inside brush head to handle is very fragile.
Works great to remove cat hair from my couch. Unfortunately the very first time I used it, the brush head broke off completely. I blame myself for assuming it worked like my previous brush, but I blame the manufacturer more because it just shouldn't have broken so easily. I will look for other brands online to purchase, but I'm pretty sure this one is the same one I've seen everywhere. I'm am sure I'll buy it again. I can still use the broken head but when I buy a new one (or a package of them - maybe that's why they're sold in multiples?) I'll be more careful when I swivel the head around.

Works good!
This works well for what I need it for. It isn't all "clouds open, angles sing" wonderful, but it's not bad either. You use it by brushing your clothes with it. One way will create little grippy things in the red material and grab pet hair and lint and stuff like that. Run it the other way and all the stuff you just collected with your brush will slide off. I highly don't suggest doing that on your clothes. I use my hand for it. Since I hand wash clothes, my clothes have a LOT of lint.I needed something, that wasn't tape, to get the lint off and this works. While it doesn't get every last piece of lint off (what lint remover does?) it gets the majority of it and that's what I needed since I don't want to walk around looking like I got dressed inside a lint trap. The thing that confuses me is... what is the point of the swivel head? I don't know. But it is flipping awesome to play with! Although my teenage sons think I am a bit weird when I press the button repeatedly and run after them yelling "HELICOPTER! Ptttttttth!"
