Everything they say in the description is true: super easy to install, lightweight, light can pointed in a wide, varying degree. The biggest issue I had was that they were not bright at all. I mounted this over my front door, maybe 7' above the ground, and when activated, it barely lit the steps just 6 feet away. However, the motion sensor could detect a car passing by at over 30ft away. Also, the light shown in the pictures appears to have one big LED in the middle whereas the one I received had 4 small LEDs per light. Maybe that's why they were so weak. This would make a great light for outdoor basement stairwell where the light could be concentrated but for a larger area, it just doesn't work.

I really loved this light. It was super bright for what I needed and worked really well to detect motion. I didn't have power in a garage I'm renting and I needed something to help me see the garage door at night and around the outside. This was the perfect solution! I used rechargeable batteries and just took it down and swapped as needed. We had about an inch of rain a week ago and the lights started staying on constantly and then now won't work at all. I took it down to see and water started pouring out from the inside of the unit. I unscrewed the back and even more came out and my batteries had started rusting. I have bought 2 more of these over the past year because I loved them so much, but now will be looking elsewhere for more. If it's going to be water damaged in a years time, it's just not worth it to me. Love everything else but I have to have a solid water proof light and unfortunately this one doesn't seem to last long enough.

The light comes packaged with the LED heads folded against the base, resembling a lightweight brick. The fit and finish look great.At first I worried unfolding the heads could break something if I opened it the wrong way. But they not only twist on the LED end, they also move side to side, widening in or out from the base. Each stalk is like o=o with a ball on each end, making it quite adjustable, and the middle is strengthened. It feels tight, but moves smoothly, and won't sag once positioned.Motion detection seems good. My installation isn't typical — in the rafters of a carport, about 8 ft (2.4m) high and angled down a bit — so there's more range than I make use of.The LEDs are decent brightness for this voltage and battery size. I've experimented with similar ones that aren't as bright, despite being larger.This unit takes 3 "AA" batteries. I prefer them because they're more common, and weigh less, than C or D cells. The design makes replacement easy: just slide the base up and off the wall plate, and install your fresh alkaline AAs.The battery lid snaps in very tightly, so they're not going anywhere. The mounting plate slides into a slot right over them, and fits snugly. It's flat on the outside and reinforced inside. Installation was a breeze.

I bought two of these lights. They are so easy and convenient. I have them in the very dark areas in my garden and they automatically turn on when anyone or animal walks by! Actually the two lights are turnable so you have great options for where the light shines. Easy to change the batteries and work for about three months in my yard. Maybe longer in yours, I have a lot of wildlife that wander by at night.

Easy to set up. Super bright. The lights start to work once the sun goes down which is a plus to conserve the battery life. I like how you're able to angle the lights in the direction you want. Only downside is the number of batteries it uses to operate it and how frequently you have to switch them out. If this was a rechargeable device, it would've been a 10 out of 10. I'm going to try using rechargeable batteries to see how long they work for.

These sensor lights worked well for about a month or so...just long enough to miss my window to return it. I purchased another version/brand of this type of lighting and they worked so much better and are still working!

This light works great and was easy to mount. Battery life is acceptable also.

I’m very satisfied with the light, easy to install. I am waiting to see how long the batteries last before I can give it a five star rating

Just got this and installed on my fence post on the deck for evening BBQs and to watch my dog when he does his business. Each light (there's 2) can turn and point in any direction which is great for my use.Super happy so far, really easy install, the light is not overbearing nor is it too dull. Will see how it holds up over time & with the snow/rain.

Very happy with the results. bio hesitation in recommending this product.

A simple, well-designed solution for all those hard to light places.

I have been using the light for about 8 month. I have two serious complaints. First, the motion sensor stopped working so the only way to turn the light on is to switch to the "on" position. In this case, it will burn through the AA batteries. My second complaint is that battery compartment door is not waterproof so the batteries get wet. Both issues point to design problems. The product does not come with a warranty so I hope the seller responds to my reviews to rectify the problem. If this occurs I will update this review. In the meantime, I will be looking elsewhere for a reliable motion sensitive light.
