Weird
I own these boots in a size 10 but they are very very old and completely falling apart. Ive had them for about 4 years now.. they really held up.. I was excited to find they are still being made. I received the replacement today and they are an entire inch smaller then the pair I own. Maybe they are just really stretched(I normally wear a 10).. Sadly I am returning them and looking into a different brand or maybe see if the manufacturer has them that I can order. I don’t see any sizes bigger then a 10 available on this site

Odd fit
I really wanted to love this boot.I needed something warm and waterproof for winter weather so I’d fit in with my stylish East Coast relatives when we went out to dinner in New York City (I’m a hiker-type who lives in the mountains who values comfort first).I ordered my normal size of 6 1/2.With a medium (I know “medium” is a subjective term here, but let’s just say thicker than a dress sock), this size was just a bit too long, (my heel slid up and down a touch, so I felt like there could be some blistering possibilities), and yet too narrow in the ball width. So going up or down a size, or trying to try different socks thicknesses won’t fix it and I had to return it.Insert big ol’ pouty face emoji here.

The thickness of socks you like to wear will matter
I normally wear 8.5 Medium in most shoes, but I like thin socks most times, in boots. So, I decided from some other reviews that I would purchase 1/2 size larger just in case I wore thick socks. This ankle boot is just right for me for wearing in light snow, warmth, and resistance to water. I haven't worn them in lots of water except for slush. However, even in slush I didn't feel any moisture. I was able to wear them in comfort all day with thin socks. They didn't tire my feet or get too hot. With the 1/2 size up I have plenty of toe room which I really like, but to some, they may not look very flattering with the slightly wider look. I don't care about that, even though I did get compliments on their style. Also, I wore them 2 days before falling in love with them and they seem like their very well made.

Love them
I live in Michigan and I work in a warehouse. These are exactly what I was looking for. I have wore them the last 2 days and they are so comfortable! Fit like a glove - not tight and not loose. Almost feel like a slipper. My feet are finally warm. Great traction when I am out in the snow. Seem like they are well constructed. I would recommend them

A bit disappointed
I love the look and fit of this boot and love Merrell products BUT these boots are so slick on ice and snow. I bought them for the purpose of a winter boot. In fact they're very dangerous. I'm disappointed that Merrell would create a winter boot that would lack a better sole/bottom for ice and snow. Not a plus when living in the mountains with big snow.

Roomy but comfortable for my foot issues
I ordered my usual 7.5 and they are roomy but perfect. I had foot surgery 9 mos ago for a Bunion and have been buying wide widths.I also have high arches. These are regular width so I can see how they’d be loose for a narrow footI took my dog on a walk tonight with thin trouser socks and my heel lifted a tad bit but no rubbing or weird pressure points. Once the temps drop even more I may add a moderate arch support and thermal socks for my longer treks. Overall I’m satisfied the only thing that was strange boots came in a mangled box missing substantial packing, rare for this brand. There was Also no ice /snow tonight so can’t comment on the tractionUpdate: took off a star icy tonight and slipped a littleAlso I pulled out a “display” sticker stuck to the lining inside the toe of boot so that could be why the boots arrived with sub par packaging they were the display model not to happy about that

Love the looks!
I got these boots (black in size 7) while they were on sale and absolutely love them! The only reason I am not giving them a 5 star is because they are a little spendy and I feel as though they could definitely use an upgrade in comfort. They do not have the best arch support (which I read before buying). I bought some insoles and they are much better! I originally got them because I am tired of having my Uggs and Bearpaws get ruined from water or needing to spray with water resistant... These are the perfect alternative! The quality of these boots seem super awesome and they are very stylish, they are exactly what I was looking for. Also, in regards to sizing, I am normally a size 7-7.5 so I got a 7 in these and they seemed a little tight at first. Now that I have worn them a couple times they seem to fit perfect.

Very comfortable overall but heel is too rigid
I really like this pair of boots but I can only give it 4* as I find the back of one of my heels rubs a bit (not a lot) when I walk and I notice that there is a hard plastic moulding that shapes the back of the shoe (which is pretty standard on all but v. expensive shoes I guess) which is very stiff and I think that's the cause.

Too wide I think - Trying half a size smaller
Since the popularity of Uggs I don't like wearing socks with any footwear and only buy boots that are sheepskin or fur lined to avoid the need to wear socks. These came up too wide and a touch too long, my heel on my right foot was slipping up and down as I walked in them and as they only just cover your ankle, you do not have the calf to zip up in order to keep them on your feet. The left foot felt more snug and "fitted"They also look quite wide too and bearing in mind leather stretches I think its better to get a touch too small and "wear them in" than end up having to find and wear thick socks because they have become too large over time.I have returned them for a 3.5 size in hopes they will be more snug all round and I have not worn a different shoe size other than 4 ever before.Other than the size

Comfortable warm boots
I’ve had a similar pair of boots for years that are still doing good service but wanted to have a pair ready to replace them. These are comfortable and well made. The fur is not as thick as on the old boots and the boots are big and wide but comfortable to wear. The soles seem to have good grips.I’m pleased that I bought them

Very Nice
Very cute and nice boot for the price. I am waiting for a hip replacement and was hoping that they would be easy to slip on.They are a little tight and do not work with thick socks which I would expect to need with only 200 gm. of insolation. However, They are well made and comfortable. I will use them in spring and fall.
