You must assemble it correctly! Reviews had me concerned. Initially it seemed rickety but after reassembling different ways, I realized the BLACK male ends go in either the broom's female recepticle or the dustpan's female one, not in another handle piece! Once I did that it felt sturdy. Makes a big difference and no where was it clear in the instructions to do this. I still give it a five as it works great, picks up fluffy dog hair and the usual dust and dirt and then easily clear the broom. I like the broom bristles as they work better than other dust pans with brooms, slightly stiffer, longer, less dense yet get fine dirt. The comb (why I bought it) is a brilliant design to remove stuff from the broom bristles, in my case, fluffy fine dog hair and it does this well. It was a constant problem in the past to clear a dustpan broom of hair and trash, those shallow ridges on the sides of dustpans never worked but the comb on this one does! The pan has a flexible rubber edge that usually gets the fine dust but you might need to tip it forward at times while moving it backward, normal procedure for any dustpan. The handles are longer than I need, I am 5'10" but it is not a problem. Dog groomers would probably love this.

I saw this testesd/reviewed by The Crazy Russian Hacker who has 3 husky dogs. I thought if it can handle the fir of 3 whiskies it should be able to deal with 2 cats. I was 100% right! It assembled easily, works like a dream, & really does clean the broom bristles perfectly.

I was constantly cleaning the broom bottom because dust and hair was always getting caught in the bristles. With the Dustpan with teeth to run through, I no longer have that problem! Finally after sweeping floors since I was 8, has someone invented this! Where has this been all my life? The handle is nice and long for the dustpan, and very sturdy. Well worth the price in my opinion. No longer bending over and touching the disgusting bristles and then washing my hands every time I use a broom!

Great product for the price, only downside is the handle to the dustpan is a little low for me and I’m 6 feet but other than that it’s great

This time of year leaves are blowing in to my front porch—actually things blow in all year, but who counts, right! Usually I strap a shopping bag to my shopping cart, stretching it out so it catches the debris, and use my regular broom and dustpan—losing half the stuff on the way to the bag. Not this year!! In no time I had the porch cleaned up, and no going back to pick up things lost in the wind. The things were all collected and promptly dumped in the bag—I love it it’s such a time saver!

This has been so great. It is sturdy and was easy to assemble. I have balance issues so this works out perfect. It is much sturdier than I thought it would be which is great. The broom is nice and the dustpan hold alot before you have to empty it. When stored they just snap together.

I wasn't sure what to expect. It didn't cost very much, so a lot of times "you get what you pay for" type of thing. But this product is OK. I like not having to bend down to do a brief cleanup, and, it sweeps up very well. The pan seats well on the floor and the broom sweeps better than expected. It looks kinda' lightly built but I'm surprisingly satisfied with it. (and it (the pan) does stand up well, so there's no bending down to pick it up again after sweeping) I'm using to in my shop. Being white, it did get dirty quickly, but of course, that doesn't affect cleanup ability. I hope I don't break it, but I'd consider buying it again if necessary.

This is just what I was looking for. I love that it was easy to assemble and so convenient to use. The handle is nice and you don't have to bend over. It is a great product!
