Q: I got this heater yesterday so how can i install the propane tank 1lb ? I got the propane tank and there is black cover on it so remove it or not?

YES, remove the protective cover on the small propane canister. You will then see threads on the top of the canister neck that need to screw into the heater. Sometimes the service group threads don’t match up at first go around…..So be very careful when you’re. screwing the two pieces together that you don’t strip the threads on the heater (which has softer metal). It should go in Easley. First, make sure the canister and the heater connectors are aligned and not off center. Should be straight up and down then slowly turn the canister until it is engaged. It sounds more difficult than it is, it just needs finessing yes. Once the two are connected the propane will flow into the heater - At that point follow the instructions on the heater. It really is worth the effort. We love ours!

Q: How much clearance to the sides does this unit require. How far away from a wall does it need to be?

I’m guessing 24”. Perhaps closer would be ok. Most of the heat rises.

Q: The pilot lights and is blue but the flame above is small and yellow. Not much heat emitted. Can anyone help?

Thats it it only heats around 3 feet. Remember it's a table heater

Q: can this be used with natural gas?

Not without somehow changing the orifice first. .
