Easy to install, works great. You will need an adapter if you are using a 2 1/2" hose vacuum. It comes with adapters, but not enough step downs. Still a great product!

Ok this helps reduce the dust so much im happy don't know if other more expensive ones work better but this worked for me grate and for the price I give it 5 stars

Read all the reviews. Took a chance based on price. I have an older 4 1/2" DeWalt Grinder (at least 15 years old). Does not fit right out of the box despite all the offered plastic spacers. Modified the clamp opening on the shroud with a hacksaw to line it up correctly (see photo). Needed a 1/4" metal spacer on the arbor to get the concrete grinder cup to sit just short of the shroud bristles. Took about 30 minutes to get it usable. Attached to a dust extractor. Ground my basement floor cracks and spalling. Worked better than expected! Collected about 98% of the dust. Very happy with the results. If you like tinkering and are kinda handy, you can figure it out.

Such a wonderful product! Used this on the grinder as we were grinding up the mortar after taking up our tile kitchen and bath. The grinder wheel was a God send as well but kicked up a ton of dust! This product was great after booking up our shop vac it sucked almost all of the dust when grinding.

I bought this for the same reason you're looking at it - it's cheap. And once it's installed, it was remarkably effective as I ground down 850sq.ft. of concrete to prepare for epoxy - I used this smaller one while doing spot-grinding, rather than the larger area work.It doesn't fit my deWalt grinder tightly without adding some shim inside ones that come with it, to get it tight - as should be expected with anything that claims to be Universal Fit.With a good vacuum this'll capture very nearly 100% of the huge amount of dust I created. But when it's time to change to a different grinder wheel, there's no way to get to the base of the grinder wheel, where the flats are for applying a wrench to remove the now-very-tight wheel. There were some awkward moments of applying lots of pressure with a very wrong tool, trying to get the wheels off.... but I don't plan on grinding another concrete slab, ever again, so this was fully acceptable for my needs.

Perfect example of china's best engineering. The "adjustable" feature is absolutely worthless. It is next to impossible to keep it attached to the grinder and I have the exact grinder this thing was made for. You will be sadly disappointed in this I assure you.

This attachment did the job well for grinding the concrete in a basement to prep for epoxy resurfacing.
