Fiskars Rotating Cutting Mat - 14" x 14" Grid to Cut Fabric Squares Easily - Perfect for Quilting, Sewing and Craft Projects - Self-Healing Mat - Gray

I bought this because I have to transport a cutting mat for quilt guild activities and it replaced a standard flat mat that had become warped. This is perfect! When folded its's only 12" wide and can be easily slipped under a bed. I like that it's a full size mat. When it's unfolded there is no distinction where the folds are so you get a clean cut each time. My only complaint is the color as I find it harder to see to make cuts, so a pink or lime green instead of the gray would be better.

This mat works great for squaring up my blocks and half square triangles. I have a larger one which is nice, but this one takes up much less room and you can't go wrong with Fiskars.

It came perfect. Right size. Cutter cuts well. And then I ironed on, ruined it. And yes, it’s says no extreme heat/cold actually printed on it.

Having a larger mat makes large cutting projects so much easier! The ruler is a nice companion to my smaller 3-12" for handling all sizes of cuts. The rotary cutter is a lifesaver and so easy to use. The initial blade wore out a bit quicker than I expected (after 2-weeks of heavy usage on fabrics) and didn't come with a replacement so I had to pick some of those up to swap out. This rotary design works wonderfully for both right handers and lefties like me without having to reconfigure it. Just need to keep an eye on the bolt that it stays tight - which is consistent with most left-handed screw threading direction issues.

Perfect size for the projects we're working on. The rotation makes cutting faster and more accurate.

The cutting board comes with a fold to make it easy to store, but every time I roll the rotary cutter over the fold, there are one or two threads that don't cut, so I have to cut again. I end up avoiding the fold, which makes the mat only half the workable surface area I'd hoped it would be.

Love the ability to take travelling. Not a huge fan of colour but minor issue

Small, neat and incredibly useful as it is not bulky and works on a small surface, like a lap tray.
