Used this product on my cat for the first time this morning. It's worked so well, he hasn't even gone outside and it's now gone cloudy, so I'd say at this present moment it's 100% effective!In all honesty, I can't yet review its sun blocking ability, but it was quick to apply and didn't cause my cat any distress. He let me rub it in - the only downside with powder is that it does land on the nose and eyes, so if your pet won't let you rub it in and remove the excess then there might be some discomfort. Also being powder I wouldn't attempt to put it anywhere near the inner ears.I'm impressed by how small an amount seems to cover the areas needed and went straight down to the skin, so from that perspective I am confident it would be effective. Plus, he hasn't tried to clean or rub it off himself, which my previous cats used to do with sun cream. So overall, so far so good.

Our white Staffie is a sun worshipper, but I always worry about sun damage. I have previously used doggie sunscreen lotions, which he hates having applied (will hide in his crate as soon as he sees it in my hand!) But this resin like powder is much easier. I put the little sponge in the palm of my hand and then fuss his head, nose and ears, and he let's me powder his belly without issue. Also, a little goes a long way and it also stays on all day as a sun block. No more chasing him around the house, and he is protected when he lays out in the sun. It does make his fur goe slightly yellow though, but that's not too much of an issue, as this does wash out with dog shampoo (it doesn't come off with just water).

I was a little dubious upon purchasing but that proved to be wholly unfounded. The product works really well and is much better for our cat than suncream. I love the fact that it lasts so long & that she can’t lick it off.

Only used once as yet but was quite easy to apply
