They are very easy to use and the noise level is fine as not to scare my Golden Retriever, who is very easily spooked. I would never be able to cut his nails with clippers, he would be too jumpy but we have very quickly adapted our teeth cleaning routine to add a quick trim of one or two nails and then a nice treat, it couldn't be any less stressful for either him or me! I would highly recommend them. I have just done a little bit at a time as to build his confidence. I am so glad I gave them a try.

I registered and got an extended warranty, very happy about that. I had a cheaper model last year and the motor just died, so I'm glad to have found this one. It is extremely quiet, even on the fastest setting. It included a spare grinding head, charging cable, and an adorable carry bag! Perfect so I don't lose the cap, cable and spare head. This is a fantastic product, and yes I use it on my toenails as well as the dogs' claws :)

This is much larger than the Petcute one I had before, so is easier to handle, and it arrived with a decent charge in the battery so I could try it out straight away. The best way to use these is to grasp the nail itself, rather than just the paw, before applying the grinder. The accompanying instruction leaflet has good advice on this front, and about soothing your dog before using it for the first time. It should be used in short bursts so there is no danger of a heat build up, as complained of by other reviewers: the manual is quite clear on this! My dog is very averse to having his paws touched, but I was able to complete a whole paw before he got bored and wandered off, which I would never have been able to do with clippers. His initial stress quickly dissipated once he got comfortable with the process, and he became completely relaxed as I proceeded. Holding the base of the nail so that vibrations are kept to a minimum is key, I think. If the nails are long, you cannot completely dress them back to the correct length in one go, as you need to give the quick time to retreat away from being exposed, but it is easier to tell when you are getting close to the quick with this than with a pair of clippers, because you can approach it more slowly. The light is excellent, but it illuminates the nail and not the grinding wheel, so you have to be a bit careful bringing the two together: I'd never get a grinder without a light after using this one, it's so much easier! The other positive about this brand is that they offer up to two years on the warranty: registering is easy, as a card with a QR code is included that you can scan to take you to their warranty website.

I've bought 2 of these, very good grinders, used on my 3 large dogs. Both lasted 6 months before the motor stopped turning. Great while it lasted!

This has made keeping my dog's nails trim so easy. I used to use clippers and would only ever take a little off as I was scared of nicking the quick, but with these I can shorten his nails more regularly and take them right down to the quick, so I can keep them as short as possible. My dog has some white nails and some black, so I use the quick in the white nails as a guide for how far down to take the black ones. This has made me much more confident doing my dog's nails. It was also very easy to introduce him to the grinder. It only took a couple of gradual introductions to get him comfortable with it.

The really powerful grinder, it's great. My dog is very big, and the black claw is very thick. Although he behaves very well, they are so fat that I have to take off a little at a time. The grinder can pass through them and leave a good finish. The lighting is also a very convenient function!And I'm surprised that they polish my Greyhound's hard black nails so fast, almost noiseless, and very strongThank you for making it and my beauty so easy!

I bought this as a last resort for my French bull dog who HATES having his nails done. We’ve had an absolute nightmare with him, he wouldn’t let anyone do it, he would go wild!! This has honestly been amazing! It’s quick, it’s not noisy and we’ve managed to finally do his nails after so long. I honestly can’t recommend it enough if you have a dog who goes wild at getting his nails cut then honestly get it!!

My 2 mad boxers will not let anyone near there feet, I’ve tried all sorts of different nail files to trim their claws, but nothing as good as this nail grinder, I have only had it for a couple of days but it works really well, it’s quiet and powerful, I find a plate with smeared with peanut butter helps give them something to lick while I deal with their claws.I have used it over 2 days because their claws were quite long and very tough, too tough for clippers which pinch.I have managed to get them down to a good length so am really happy with this product so far, I will write an update if it continues to work as well as it has so far. It charges very quickly.

Utilisée sur ma chienne qui a des troubles du comportement et une peur panique du coupage d'ongles. Bon ça reste un peu sportif mais ça c'est dû au chien. La lime à ongles est vraiment très facile d'utilisation, peu bruyante, non douloureuse on peut mettre son doigt dessus sans soucis, deux vitesses, une lumière, le geste est facile et doux pour l'animal, très peu de risque de faire saigner puisqu'on lime progressivement.
