Gave this to my sister for Christmas and she LOVES it!!It's dial is red, like a fire truck, the outer rim contrasts and the numbers shine, but not enough to disturb and was the perfect replacement gift!

It does not glow

It was a gift the person I gave it to really likes it.

Love this Silent Clock. After several months of usage I am writing this review. Glows at Night with Lights Off. Numbers are large enough in size and can be read easily. Battery consumption is low. Time remains fairly accurate.

Unless there is a magical trick to make clock illuminate at night I tried placing under a light a day, didn't work, placed it in sunlight, same results. Looks good with my decor so I'll keep it but disappointed.

I have two of these now. The size and font of the black-faced one make it easily readable 15 feet away 24-hours a day... without my glasses. Tip, I have one placed where a dark blue light shines on it at night. That tiny bit of unobtrusive light really increases the readability from 15 feet away.

The product was advertised as a Clock with nightlight, this is not true, it is merely A luminous clock
