Brilliant
Purchased the clock for our mother as she has got dementia, she sometimes gets up in the night and thinks it’s morning. The clock is large enough to see everything very clearly, we have used the setting which highlights the date, time, day and whether it’s morning, afternoon or evening in different colours, this makes everything standout and easy to see. You can also set medication reminders but we haven’t yet done this as we are letting her get used to the clock first. We would recommend this clock to anyone and very easy to set up.

Clear digital display clock
Purchased to assist my mum with her dementia. The clock display is great with clear day of the week, time and date. My only criticism is that the programming of the clock is a bit fiddly. Bonus that this clock is a good £20 cheaper than through the charity websites.

Excellent product so far and working as it should.
So good for my mother who suffers from dementia and struggles with time, date, year etc. She is a lot more settled and confident having this to check up on what is happening at any given time of the day or night. I do hope it lasts as some of the reviews say it gives up after only a short time. This would be a great shame if it does as it is a fair amount of money to keep replacing. I am over the moon with the concept of this product as it really helps people with memory issues and that is so important for their quality of life.

Dementia clock
Bought for my mum who lives by herself and gets confused about the day, date and time. She is delighted with it, big display that she can easily read, and when she woke in the night it lit the room up.My only concern is the reviews who said it stopped working after a while, so will have to see what happens, not cheap so will be disappointed if this happens

Cheaper than Argos...
It does what it says on the tin, however...I did have to take a sharp blade to it, to remove a piece of plastic that was pressing into the screen from the frame, and it will randomly turn itself on when I've turned it off of an evening.

Fabulous
My mother suffers with dementia and this clock is fabulous. One of the main things she forgets is her medication, not anymore. She also forgets how to turn her alarm off so flips the switch at the wall, which means every day we have to reset the time and alarm, not with this clock. It sounds the alarm for twenty seconds then turns itself off. It’s absolutely brilliant! It also must have some internal battery as I set the alarms and time at my house to see how it worked and then unplugged it. It was several hours before I took it to my mothers and plugged it in. The time was correct and the alarms saved. It’s easy to programme just a bit fiddly pushing the buttons at the back whilst viewing the front. It’s a great product.

Very fiddly and unsuitable for elderly or people with dementia
Clock itself when set is clear to read and does the job. I initially set it up for my mother. However when the time came to reset it after BST came in she tried to change the time herself and the thing broke. This clock is too fiddly for someone with dementia. I have replaced it with a radio-controlled clock which automatically updates the time when the clocks go back or forwards.

Clock for memory loss
I bought this clock for my mum who has dementia and it helps her with recognising and remembering the time. Its especially good for her as it tells her the day and precise time of the day such as morning afternoon etc.
