These are the same as you would see in the big box stores at a fraction of the cost. I am using them for two 4' x 8' doors on my shed. 3 per side. The screws they provide are NOT heavy duty and won't work for my application. I bought some 2.5 inch heavy duty screws to use. But that is not a deal breaker by any means. These are worth it..

I haven't had these installed for very long, but they all line up and function properly. We'll see how they're doing about a year from now. They work smoothly and look good. I'm sure they would be a great choice for any wooden exterior door or gate. I installed them on a chicken coop with 1/2 inch plyboard siding so I purchased longer screws than what was provided, but I have already found several uses for them in other applications. Overall, a good value and I would purchase again. I will try and do an update in a year on how they're holding up. UPDATE!!!It has been over a year since I installed these and they are still working great. Paint is showing signs that it will start chipping within the next year or two, but nothing that concerns me. I have even purchased more since then.

I installed these on wood gates, three per gate to be exact. Simple to install, look good and it appears they'll hold up for years.I have the same complaint on all the gate hardware I installed recently, the screws aren't large enough to hold (in my opinion) heavy wood gates long term. I used longer deck screws instead. Maybe I'm right, most likely it is just peace of mind. Either way, I would still recommend these for gates.

These are very well made hinches. Definitely heavy duty. I believe they will last a long time . I am a woman and installed these myself the screws are also well made you don't have to worry about them stripping out easily. I definitely recommend these and will buy again if I needed.

The reason this does not get 5 stars is the screws it came with rusted in no time. Also they were short which led to being pulled from the wood. Problem solved by using longer screws.

These are the best hinges for the money. Used them to install cypress doors on my barn addition. This may be the limit of their weight rating but they work great!! Best value for the money as the hinges in the store were $27 each. The screw they came with were not equal to the hinges; those will be used for light duty. I used lags to secure the hinges/doors.

These hinges came with 5/8" screws, which will not hold up a wooden fence gate. The screws need to go thru the fence slats and into the 4 X 4 posts. Needlesstosay, I had to go out and spend another $10 on screws. Not a good way to do business.

I over built this shed a little. The doors are heavy. About 65lbs each. The hinges work and look great.
