Must know the basics of soldering
It took me about 15min to do the whole thing that's including putting away and grabbing my soldier gun. Gotta have a good soldier tip if not then your job comes alot harder, and have some experience with soldering. Well lit and work area is needed. Having a steady hand is part of soldering if you suffer from arthritis, etc. Have a professional do itI also purchased a soldering gun here from Amazon and it helped me with this job

Works for Land Rover LR3 key
This was a successful replacement for a 2006 Land Rover / Range Rover key. It's a DIY job that requires a soldering iron. Much cheaper than getting new key from dealer or locksmith

Land Rover battery
I'm not sure why it's not working. It could be because I need to reprogram the circuit board

Great Battery, Not best match for 2014 Mini Cooper Countryman (R60) Key FOB.
I bought this battery for my failing 2014 Mini Cooper Countryman Key Fob. I saw that most recommendations for a DIY re-solder rechargeable battery, mentioned the Panasonic VL2020 (which I verified, was an exact match, after taking apart my Key Fob). I saw that this battery listed a 50mAh rating, versus the 20mAh rating of the the VL2020, and I figured I would take the chance. Unfortunately this battery / the VL2330 is slightly larger in diameter than the VL2020, and is not a perfect size match for the Mini Key Fob. I can force the FOB closed, and it does work with the VL2330, but I should have got the smaller / exact diameter match fit of the VL2020 for my Mini Key Fob. Not a huge deal, but I wanted to make the note, encase there may be another Mini owner, looking to DIY the battery re-solder on their FOB & may be tempted by the higher mAh rating of the VL2330 vs. the VL2020. I would definitely go VL2020.

Changed my LR3 remote batteries.
This is a replacement battery that worked with my Land Rover 2006 LR3. It came pre charged. You will need to know how to solder, as the original battery is soldered to the remote board and will have to be removed and this one soldered in place. Lots of videos on youtube for that. Took me about 20 minutes to do one keyfob.

Saved me tons of money
Saved me A LOT OF MONEY on Range Rover sport key fobs. If you have steady hands then it’s a 5 mins job. If you don’t have the proper equipment just take it to any cell phone repair shop, they will install it for you for $20

Will not charge
Don’t bother with this, arrived and was tested and registered 2.97V. Soldered it in and plugged device in. Will not turn on or charge any higher then 2.97V. This is a backup battery for memory only on medical device. If this battery doesn’t work then the device will not power on. Other battery fully charged at 6V.
