Purple is one of my favourite colours and I hoped that when this arrived it looked as good as I hoped it would, but nope, its even better in real life. The pic on the product page here does not do it justice at all.This beautiful ladies watch comes very nicely gift boxed and presented on a soft but firm watch cushion inside the box. Imagine my surprise when I lifted the cushion out and found a spare watch battery underneath! I’ve never seen that before, having bought many watches over the years for both myself and as gifts for others. How lovely that they give you a spare battery for when the one already installed in your watch finally needs replacing. I like that extra touch that other companies just don’t do.The watch has a large easy to read analogue display (very pretty!) and offers Japanese Quartz movement. It also features a protective mineral dial window and is in fact water resistant to 30 feet! That’s great for me as where I live in rural Scotland we get pounded with heavy rains during the Autumn/Winter months. Knowing my watch can be worn outdoors, even if it starts pelting it down with rain is good news to me. It does state though that you cannot wear the watch when showering nor can you fully submerge it.The round mother of pearl dial is so gorgeous! Everyone who has seen me wearing this has commented on this watch. I know this watch is available in various colours, but this one has to be the most stunning surely. I’m not sure any of the other colour choices could be as gorgeous as this, but I am biased, I love purple! Its a stunning purple too, vibrant and alive! and when I flick my wrist and the light catches the watch face, its really beautiful. I’ve taken to wearing this now and put my other watch away in the drawer. I really like this watch.I have tiny wrists, so it came as no surprise to me to learn on trying it on for the first time that I’d need to add an extra hole for it to fit me perfectly. I’m still on the hunt for a 1mm hole punch to enable me to do that, but for the time being I just wear it higher up my wrist than I normally would. I should imagine you won’t have that problem though, not unless you’ve got tiny wrists like me, I have to take links out or add holes always.The strap is crafted from PU leather and it fastens with a good quality buckle. The decorative bezel is non moving. The dial colour is white and it keeps perfect time.Highly Recommended!
