When I first unboxed this knife, I thought it was a gag or junk knife. However, using to cut Amazon boxes quickly proved me wrong. Tanto blades are usually designed for piercing tasks given its strong spine, yet the blade cut better than a drop point. The spine on the small blade is curved on this model, unlike the straight spine on most tanto knives, which allows the user to have more cutting performance.Overall, the knives small blade with allow carry into states with restrictive blade length laws. I do recommend it, but only in places where the knife length laws are severely limited to less than three inches.

That is my first mind after open it so I don't have any experience yet.It's small very sharp packet knife I test it how sharp it is and you can shave your hair, that much sharp! Depend for what you gonna use it because is small ! I like it!When you press the button for opening it not gonna open all the way you need to push it forward.

The overall quality seem good, if it will hold an edge is yet to be seen.A lot smaller than I had hoped for - this would be a great gift for a young person learning knife care.It will work for opening letters or cutting twine or tape after a good sharpening - hence 3 stars for lack of quality to sending out a pre-sharpened knife.

This is an okay knife for the price. Won't be a big stress when it inevitably gets lost. The blade is sharp, and tight in the frame. No wiggle at all. The problem is, the closed detent it too firm, meaning the thumb knob to swing it open is almost painful. The index finger assist is there but with the tight bushings, a quick press with your finger won't swing it open all the way.Update July 17, 4 weeks after it was received. The thumb stud came loose. This is shoddy quality control and does not bode well for the rest of the knife.Buy Something else.

This was perfect for what I wanted, a lightweight well made pocket knife. Fantastic price and value. Highly recommend. has easy open. A bit tricky to close but thats OK

Love this little knife, very durable and sharp. For a stainless steel blade, it rusted very easily from a brief splash of salt water. Otherwise great product for the size, weight, and cost of this knife.

I'm not a "knife guy" but wanted to get a mid-priced knife. I purchased a *different* knife for about $20 and immediately saw this knife had a discount down to about $5. I figured I would get this one as well and -- at least -- it would be a sacrificial lamb for the first time I needed to figure out how to sharpen the *other* knife.Turns out that this is my "go to" knife, though. This knife is dramatically sharper and easier to open/close. This knife feels better in my hand, even though they are about the same size. I'm sure somebody more knowledgeable with knives might be able to nitpick some issues with this knife, but it's sharp, easy to use, and feels good in the hand.I think the "tanto" style of the blade looks a little odd to me and would probably prefer the look of the blade on the other knife, but that's about all I could say about this knife. If you're in the market for a nice little pocket knife to carry, go for it!
