I’ve been using this brand for years but it’s getting harder to find it in stores. Hair always looks healthier after using.

I like John Frieda hair coloring but I have not used this color yet. I bought it because they don’t sell it where I live anymore. I will have to review when I use it

I've used this for years. Nothing else I've tried comes close to the quality of John Frieda in terms of color uniformity, sheen, natural appearance, and just plain attractiveness. In a word, it looks GREAT. I've gotten compliments on my hair color from complete strangers, and I'm a guy.Most of the stores where I live have made the brilliant marketing decision to only stock four or five different brands of the same few basic colors, and no longer carry this shade. Fine with me, I'll keep right on buying it from Amazon!

I don't often write reviews, but I've been using this John Frieda foam hair dye for over two years now and I cannot recommend it highly enough. I am always getting compliments on my hair color (both from people who know I color it and those that don't). I order it in large quantities from Amazon because I'm perpetually afraid they'll discontinue my favorite color (light amber brown) and I think I'll be hard pressed to find something I like as much.Naturally, I have very dark brown hair with reddish undertones. After trying some darker shades, I finally decided to go lighter to see more of a difference and this worked perfectly. My hair noticeably has more dimension, but is not so much lighter that it's super obvious the second my roots start growing in. It's also a great "warm" color for people with golden skin tones.Besides the shade, the foam is super easy to apply and the conditioner is really great -- my hair always feels smooth and healthy after I use it.

It was definitely nice foamy product to use yet it didn't stay on too long before i had to wash it off quickly.

So I'm having trouble finding a color that is a rich brown with no weird orange or red undertones. I'm 46 and my color oxidizes pretty fast now. So far...a few weeks in and I'm pretty happy! Loveeee the foam application. No drip. No mess. And the color really is natural and rich. All in all, I would buy this again

Love this product and happy to find it available again. While it was not around I did try others and was not happy. This product is great. Foam does not drip and with my long hair, one box covers it with plenty of extra left over. Someone with thicker hair may want 2 just in case. Been using for years and happy it is available!

Repurchased, easy to use, works well with grey hair, but a bit expensive

Why, oh why, did they decide to STOP selling this product in Ontario, Canada, stores...?!At least it's STILL available through Amazon.ca, THANK GOODNESS...it goes on easily, it lasts for AT LEAST 3 months before it might be time for a "...re-do," & it's just oh-so-superior to anything else that's on the market here.
