This is a good value in a Raspberry Pi 4
Received the Labists kit in early December but wasn’t able to find time to assemble it until the week before Christmas. The packaging was exceptionally good. Since this was my first Pi I’m a novice, after assembling the kit, I wasn’t able to get the Pi to display anything on my monitor. There weren’t any detailed assembly instructions included with the Labists kit but I had purchased the O’Reilly Raspberry Pi Cookbook which was a good source of help and I used the Online instructions that the Raspberry Pi.Org has to complete the assembly. Still was not able to get the Pi to present a display. Decided to download Noobs to a micro SD card. That went ok after a couple of failed downloads, but the results didn’t change the display failure. There are some very helpful troubleshooting guides on the Raspberry Pi.Org site, I used these to determine that the Pi seemed to be booting ok but still no display. Finally decided to contact Labists on Christmas Eve. Didn’t expect a reply for a couple of days, while typing the request for help, I told Labists that I had eliminated everything except the Micro HDMI cable. Then the light bulb went on and since the Labists Kit comes with Two Micro HDMI cables I swapped it out. Duh, that was the problem, but I surely learned a lot while finding the problem. Labists replied the rep Cara apologized for the delayed reply and they bought me two replacement cables. They do honor their warrantee. I can recommend the Labists kit and also their support.

Repeat customer, 10/10 quality
I'm now a repeat customer of Labists. I, admittedly, usually skip the entry level options and just spend for the higher dollar kits buying some of their other products these guys are 10/10 quality and at a REALLY competitive price. I'm still shocked at the quality you get for the price these guys offer it. The fit and finish of the case is 10/10 and even comes with spots to add some of their other parts like the camera module. The only negative I can say is that the fit and finish of the case is really solid and tight which can make getting the sd card in and out a little difficult but its not too bad. I'm digging these little kits for fun hacker projects around the house.

Very well put together starter kit
I ordered this as a beginner to Raspberry Pi, with the intention of eventually running OctoPrint on it for my 3d printer. While waiting on other parts to come in I decided to go ahead and see what the experience is with this kit immediately out of the box. Heres my findings:This kit does include everything you need other than peripherals. So I borrowed the screen, mouse, and keyboard from my gaming pc. Assembly was a breeze, 4 screws hold the Pi into the case, 4 screws hold the fan, and the heatsinks just stick in place. Easy enough for anyone to do. The included 64gb microsd card is a massive plus as I can install RetroPie and enjoy some old school gaming while I wait on the rest of my 3d printer parts. Who knows, I may have to get a second pi to make a retro game rig.Back to the review: Setup was a breeze. After plugging everything in and flipping the switch on the included power supply to "on" it booted directly into the Raspian OS installer pre-installed on the microsd card. It immediately recognized my mouse and keyboard and I had no issues running through the setup. WiFi is quick and speeds are great. Bluetooth 5.0 works great. I currently have the Pi hooked up to a monitor at work and I am listening to music and doing my work on the Pi itself instead of the work computer.Overall thoughts: This is an amazing starter kit for anyone new to Raspberry Pi. Labists thought of everything you might need, even including 2 hdmi cables so you can run dual monitors. I even love that the included sd card reader is both USB A and USB C compatible. I do wish it had a beefier heatsink, but thats just the overclocker in me wanting to overclock the Pi.All in all this is a great starter kit.

Excellent Value - No Surprises
The only surprises were nice ones I've been working with small board computers and and microcontrollers for several years. This is the best basic package I've seen for the money. Nothing is done half-way. 64GB with NOOBS (not 16 or 32). Two microHDMI cables, power adapter with switch, 3 heat sinks and a fan. Very complete. Criticisms - No assembly instructions, but the vendor video on the Amazon site demonstrated how to do everything except which pins to make the fan connection. It was unclear, but not hard to figure out. It also included a very useful magnitized phillips screwdriver to complete the assembly. What made this an exceptional deal was the coupon and lightning deal discounts. About $20 less than I usually for an abundant basc package. I should have bought two, but not this time. I appreciate getting a great value promotion once in a while.
