A Million Little Pieces [DVD]

There is some authentic rumors about this story. I will say all in all it us great though. I bought it for my work. The patients love it. Everytime I put it on they rave about it. We have different patients almost every day besides for the weekend.

Outstanding writing, direction and performances. Unique, could not stop watching. Drug rehab, not an easy subject, but this movie tells it all, without glorifying anything. I've known people that had problems, nothing like this movie, so I am very fortunate, but for people trying to change their lives, perhaps this movie could help them. I sincerely hope so.Brilliant and Brutal! Such honesty and truth. If it helps someone their job is done.

This would have been a great movie to show in the alcoholic/addiction field except for the opening scene. Good movie, (I read the book when it first came out), except the opening scene is the main character smoking some type of drug, then starts dancing around, next thing you see is his pants down and FULL FRONTAL NUDITY. Later in the movie, while in the shower ANOTHER FULL FRONTAL NUDITY scene. If they had eliminated that in the movie, it would have been a great movie to show in a treatment setting.

I enjoyed the book and I equally liked the movie. Although the book makes you “feel” his pain more effectively. There is more detail when reading about the girl that he befriends, so I like that better. Definitely a story to be told!

The movie met my expectations. As a person in recovery I enjoyed it very much and would recommend it for anyone in recovery.

This movie was based off of one of my favorite books, so I purchased it when it was released. It follows the story line pretty accurately. The book is much more detailed tho, and I wished the movie could have been a little bit longer so some of the other scenes could be incorporated into the movie. Overall it was a good movie, but I do recommend reading the book for full details.

Was told Disc was region free but is not, can only be played on American or Canadian players.
