This product has been a game changer in the kitchen. This was originally bought as a gift for my dad, but I think I use it more than he does lol. First of all our old cheese slicer had to be older than my dad. The actual cutting part was extremely dull and the handle had fallen off years ago, so you had to grip a small piece of metal that stuck out. When I first used this new one, I felt like I was floating! The material is heavy duty, and the handle is sturdy. The blade is sharp with little grooves to make the cut as smooth as can be. Plus, the whole thing look very sleek. Now when I go to cut cheese, it is without the dread of how hard it will be! I enjoy cutting cheese with this cheese slicer!

I went through several cheese knives, all 'dishwasher safe', all showing rust spots within a few washes. These are the exception - great knives, no rust.

So far, I have only used the soft cheese knife. They are strongly constructed, the handles have a very nice feel. The brie does not get stuck on the blade and the knife is very comfortable to use. I am very happy with the knives and I feel I got the quality I paid for.

Looks great and works great. My only complaint is that the blade is not of full teng construction. It is a blade wedged between a slot on the one piece handle. This is classic poor construction and engineering. There is no way that will last for years. Outside of that, I'm sure it will work fine for the time being. Just disappointed in the poor engineering.

I like my cheese sliced THINLY, but since moving to the US from Europe I couldn't find one of these cheese slicers I grew up with sold anywhere in stores. This version is awesome, it's all metal so it does well in the dishwasher. The diamond pattern does take a little extra work to clean, but is entirely worth it for the way the cheese doesn't get stuck or buckle as it's coming out of the slicer. One movement and your thinly sliced cheese just glides right off! It's perfect.

This item is very nice but a little thin as far as the metal and bends easily. It does do what it’s supposed too very nicely but is, severely, over priced for it’s construction.

I have an old shaver that I got as a wedding present 50 years ago, and thought it was time to get a new one as the old one is hard to grip.This one is the third I've gotten and the others were all returned as not even as good as the ancient one. This one is much better than the old girl and has the no stick on the flat area that is a bonus
