Nice and bright and cheap but does drain the battery.

Overall, pleased with these. Using them under a loft bed to illuminate the area where the ladder (and my clothes rail) sits to enable getting up and down in dark. Sensor works every time, has a long range, and like that if I'm under the bed, I can press the button to keep the lights on.I had to double check what I'd ordered because warm white are really bright and quite cold, just not blue. However, they give a really good working light, so getting a second set for other end of bed where my desk stands.My only gripe is the adhesive. The underside of my bed is painted and lightly waxed, so I sanded it first. Stuck the lights in place, couple of days later they started peeling off. Reattached, peeled off. Got heavy duty double sided tape and now they stay put. Although even super grippy double tape can't cope very well with the weight of the control unit (without batteries), but seem to have finally gotten them to bond. Been up a couple of months now.I also bought an Amazonbasics power cable for it to plug into my usb hub. I can't remember if this was because it didn't come with one or if the included cable was too short.

Batteries don't last, so needs mains powered USB charger nearby to illuminate descent of stairs at night

Put them up last night and by this morning they'd fallen off.

We did some house changes, during lockdown, included moving our bedroom to a different floor. They used to be next to a big window, and usually in the light, but are now against a wall and in a darker area of our new room. Although we put in ceiling lights to cover the wardrobe area, it's a bit of a faff to turn them on and off when you just want to grab something from them and go - so I looked for some kind of sensor lights to help with this. We already have a couple of sensor 'bars' in cupboards, but wanted / needed something bigger to work inside our wardrobes. I looked at kitchen under-cabinet lighting, to see it that would do the job I wanted and they looked like they fitted the bill. I choose this set, as it was a double-pack (so one for each wardrobe) and the length was long enough to cover a significant area and light up our clothes racks. They were quick and easy to install - each takes 4 x AAA batteries, and I'm using rechargeable ones that I can recharge during the day using our solar power - with 3M adhesive for the control / battery units, and the backing peels off the LED strips to give you an adhesive back to the lights that will stick to the wardrobe inners. My wife has hers around the underneath of the shelf in her wardrobe, so that they will come on every time she opens the doors. I have mine going up one side / along the bottom of the shelf and down the other - with the control unit hidden behind some clothing, so that I just need to wave my hand across it when I need them on. The control units have a dial on them that allows you to set the time they are on from a few seconds to a few minutes, so you can adjust to suit you. A nice, neat, solution to light up our clothes rails.

I bought these LED sensor light to illuminate a under stair cupboard, which is height restricted and can be difficult to get to see what inside. Also, as the cupboard goes around under a small landing and around to the first short flight of stairs, the normal light fitted to the the wall is not great.These LED strip lights can be attached to the wall, which installation easy and also provides flexibility for placement. As I store suitcases in the cupboard, I have chosen to place the LED lights on the ceiling, close to the wall,so they are out of the way and also provide light all the way to the end.As the LEDs are placed on a 3m strip, you generally don't get any shadows, which is great when you are in the space, moving or working on things. Also the LEDs are bright to lights up the whole space, even when a portion of the LEDs are covered by boxes or suitcases.The controller, is not very big, and incorporated a AAA battery compartment and also the motion/ light senor, switch and adjustments. I have just plugged it into the Micro-USB power point, to ensure they work all the time, without relying on batteries. The lights do flicker sometimes, when they are on, but not an issue for me. The motion sensor is quick and triggers the LED to turn on very quickly to ensure I have viability right into the space straightaway.My 5 year old was happy, as she can now see when she goes into the space to get paper from the printer :)Took me about 5 mins to fit and test the lights. So simple, they just work. I hope they last a very long time.Great product.
