This is definitely a blast from the past and great value for money, I didn’t know something like this existed and my dad felt like a kid again when he opened it, hopefully I can find the other house robots to add in the future!

Pros:* This took a surprisingly long time, 3-4 hours!* The final result looks good* Included spanner + screwdriver are good enough* It was mostly fun to build, good for Robot Wars nostalgiaCons:* Whilst the parts are pretty high quality, the instructions (see images) are pretty bad. As an example, look at the "shoulder" in step 30. If you look at the inset image in the next step you can see the shoulder is actually mounted the wrong way round. There's 5-6 mistakes like this that you have to figure out for yourself.* Awkward steps. There's a few steps that seem impossible for anyone with human hands, I've no idea how they managed it. I can't screw a screw I can't reach!* Having to bend metal. Bending parts by hand is PAINFUL, and inaccurate. There's way, way too much of this.* Missing pieces. This might be a one-off, but I had some extras of some parts, and some missing ones so had to improvise.

Bought for husband's Christmas present. He was very happy with it.
