Jesus Calling for Easter, Padded Hardcover, with Full Scriptures: 50 Easter Devotions with Written-Out Scriptures (A 50-Day Devotional)

I love Sarah Young's Jesus Calling book and series and I loved Jesus Calling for Christmas. This particular book, while beautiful and filled with promises of faith and carefully selected scriptures and teachings that please any believer's heart, I was disappointed by the background design using images of "Easter eggs". The Christmas-season version of the book series provided backgrounds of winter and beauty and some Christian Christmas traditions. This Easter version has some pages of pagan-oriented multi-colored decorated holiday eggs for background images. Most images were of springtime and some of natural eggs in a nest (promising good news to be born soon), but the use of decorated eggs was disruptive to the theme of a Christians belief blending in a pagan practice that should not be in the book.

I enjoy devotional books and this one with its beautiful, colorful Easter pictures throughout, was a joy to pick up and read.

This book has the most beautiful Spring Floral Pictures in it that I simply had to have another copy as a gift for Easter .

This book is not only good for Easter but throughout the year. There is a misspelling on page 9 of the work 'spirit' from Hebrews 4:12; shown as sipirit.. Surprised the proof readers did not catch it.Also, those of us that read the Bible fully know that Christ was not born in a stable. Only mention of where Jesus was born is a "manger". This incorrect information is on page -"stable born infant" - NAUGHT. Don't wish to be critical albeit readers should read the truth.

Beautifully illustrated Easter devotional. Short enough to finish & savor before Easter. Am going to pass my copy down to my Daughter-in-law for next Easter & she can share with my Granddaughter. Would recommend to everyone either for themselves or as a beautiful early Easter gift.

This is such a beautiful book. I lover her devotionals and this book has beautiful pictures and scriptures to accompany them. I bought one for myself and one as a gift. I highly recommend.

My mom loves this series. I've never seen one for Easter so I had to buy it for her. She really loves it.

I truly enjoy all of Sarah Young's devotional...but the Seasonal Ones - oh my! They are lovely. I have the Christmas version - and the Easter one did not disappoint. The images are gorgeous and the words are deep. There are 50 devotional readings so it's nice to get a bit of an early start before Lent.
