I was getting a different brand at a local pet store and it either did not work straight out of the box or would last for a week or less. This bulb has been so much better and I will be ordering these from now on.

Fluker's basking bulb worked for only 36 days.
I received this Fluker's basking spotlight bulb on March 24,2025. I went to turn on basking lamp for my turtle Slater and nothing happened, the bulb stopped working on April 30,2025. The bulb worked for about 36 days then stopped working! I contacted Amazon only to find out that the warranty ran out 6 days earlier onApril 24,2025. I should of read the reviews before purchasing because this is a common problem with this bulb. I hope amazon will look into this matter further because a bulb should last longer than 36 days.
