Very good!
Great pc, was a bit septic about the keyboard with all the lights that shows in the pictures.I think the pictures don’t do any justice to this product, it looks class, good quality overall, you can see it’s not cheap plastic, the green looks great. When it comes to the specs, speakers are great, specially for a laptop, I use it manly for editing, photoshop, lightroom, bridge, .... and it works great, I can even have them open at the same time.WiFi also is very good.

Good value.
Good gaming laptop, but there are better out there if you have the money to spend... This laptop can handle every game you may wish, but you will need an external drive as to not take up all the internal space.Perfect for light gaming and travel. Laptop is lightweight, medium thickness and I believe good value.

Very suitable for Autodesk Revit 2017.
Likes:Super fast boot time (Win 10 64x) almost instant.Very good build quality and design. I love the lighted keyboard. Very good response on the touchpad.Great screen resolution and image quality. The image is not affected by angle of tilt. The screen surface is matte so no reflection.Handles dual screen and multiple applications superbly. It has Bluetooth.Very silent. 90% of the time during work the fans are not heard. Only during rendering. Not that I mind anyway.Dislikes:The only thing I will say is the model doesn't allow you to set the charge limit to 80% like on other models. I work with the laptop plugged in. The laptop would have gotten 5 stars form me if HP offered the BIOS Battery Health Manager offered on Business models.Other than the above "dislike", I can't fault it really. All the negs reflect the price to be honest so it would be unfair to criticise the small HDD. It won't be enough if you are an avid gamer but for architectural software and photo editing software it's enough. You'd be storing your work on an external drive anyway.Concerning storage, if you we're looking to add a second drive, the laptop has the chassis space but you need to buy the peripherals so you're better of swapping the current SSD for a larger one.Another small caveat is I could have used another USB slot. It has only two.

Decisions, decisions! But I made the right one.
I spent a few weeks researching laptops before plumping for this one. The gaming laptop spec and the better quality screen were the key deciders for me. I occasionally video edit so wanted something that could cope with that.It worked perfectly straight out of the box. Some people may not like the bright shining green backlit keyboard, but because I watch films at night it's handy to be able to switch that on and off. (Fn+F4 or F5 - I can't remember off the top of my head!) The keyboard is fine and the keypad which others complain about, is fine as long as you remember to go well left to click the mouse. Often I find I'm not getting a response because I'm clicking in the middle of the pad or to the right. I usually use external keyboard and mouse which removes any of those problems either. I will be using it away from home in the coming months and will be more dependent on the inbuilt keyboard and tracker then. The machine is super light compared to the one it replaced. I can carry it around the house with one hand and so far the battery life has been fine - but I haven't used it off charge that much. Just a couple of hours at a time. The screen is great for watching videos too.Overall I'm delighted with my purchase. I wonder if it will last as long as the previous (Lenovo still going strong after 6 years but rather sloooooooow!)

It'll make your miserable teenager happy again.
My son was moaning about his laptop being slow and with it being about 4 years old I decided to split the cost with him for this one. He researched it and I also asked the IT nerd at work who is a keen gamer. Now the IT nerd said the graphics card is towards the low end and would struggle with multiple AAA games. His opinion was to spend a bit more (£200-£300) and get one with a better card. My son - a 6th form student who lives on PS4 and only has a weekend job Didn't have the extra cash so plumped for this. He is SOOOOOO happy with it. Not one tantrum. It's fast enough for the games he plays and his college work. It's sleek and the sound is spot on. I thought the green keyboard lights would be a bit 'in your face' but it's actually quite good. I can't comment on battery life as it's always plugged in.

Not perfect, but overall happy.
An entry gaming laptop for a reasonable price. Had some issues with playing videos in chrome, disabled the hardware acceleration and fixed it. Also when i use headphones there is a 2 sec delay before sound stars, seems to be related with power saving measures. Also had to update the graphics drivers for vega gpu manually, automatic update failed. Played games, used it for work, nice screen and fast enough. Good laptop for eveyday use if you are on budget. If you want to game seriously spend the same amount for a desktop pc.
