I bought this product to use my gopro for winter sports. Not only was this affordable, it is well made and very sturdy. Not sure how long this will last - I only used it three or four times this season, but will update my review if it doesn't last.

The pole is OK but the wrist strap design is terrible
This is a review of the Bornmarc extension pole for GoPro and compatible cameras/camcorders with tripod mount holes. I received a free sample for evaluation. The opinions expressed are my own.This aluminum extension pole extends from 16" to 40". Having that longer length is great for some uses. The pole has three sections and easy to grip and the twist-locks are easy to use and quite secure. The pole does not wobble at all when it is tightened down.Included is a GoPro mount and thumbscrew. You can take off the GoPro mount which then enables you to attach small cameras or camcorders that have a tripod mount on them.The handle has a rubber grip so this can safely be used in water.Unfortunately there is a problem with the grip and that is how the wrist strap attaches to the pole. Instead of the strap coming out of the middle of the pole and out through the middle of the grip, it comes out of a hole on the side of the pole, wraps around the end of the pole and then out the hole in the grip. It took only one day before the bottom of the grip tore due to the tension from the wrist strap pulling. And because the strap goes over the sharp edge of the end of the aluminum pole, eventually it will fray and break. It's unbelievable that a pole that is otherwise pretty decent has such a terribly designed grip/strap.Back to the drawing board Bornmarc.

Telescopic screw locks the length in place - well made GoPro gear
Pretty straight forward. Easy to attach and use. It has a good grip and wrist strap. I do like that it is a screw locking telescope so that you can vary the length of the extension and keep it there. Some other sticks that I have, slide over time and don't stick well eventually. I was provided this sample for an honest review.
