Comfortable to hold, works well with variety of cheese
The handle height makes it easy to control all the way through a block of cheese. It's cut Parmesan and brie equally well. A little tricky to clean after very soft cheeses but no big deal, it's an excellent purpose-built tool.

Nice cheese knives
They are nice and sturdy. Cut different types of cheeses. Happy with this knife set.

Less resistance
The cheese knife is comfortable in my hand as it glides through the cheese blocks I purchase. The open spaces cuts down on the resistance. I had an eye on a cheese knife after exerting force with my chef’s knife to slice off two ounces of cheese from the cheese blocks I bought.

Great for Velveeta blocks
My kiddo loves Velveeta mac & cheese and it's so much cheaper to buy blocks of Velveeta and macaroni separately. This knife cuts the blocks well and the cheese doesn't get stuck to the blade as much as traditional knives. It's cheap enough that I don't bother with hand-washing like we do with our "nice" knives, it just goes right in the dishwasher.

Comfortable and hsndy
Works well, but doesn’t slide through the cheese as well as other cheese knives I have use

Cutting ease
Used on block cheddar cut with ease compared to standard knife. Less friction.

Not Great, hoped for much more.
I bought the green one to stand out in my drawer amidst all the black handles. It's very attractive. Definitely a "stamped" knife, not forged. You can actually see that one side of the blade is slightly convex while the other slightly concave. Maybe that's the problem?Really wanted this to be fantastic, and for the price, why should it not be? It was to be a special Christmas treat to myself.Unfortunately, I struggled to get a nice slice of cheddar cheese with this knife. It kept skipping off the block about 1/3 down, leaving incomplete slices and a sense that you're doing something wrong. Was it just me?So, I bit the bullet and ordered the Cutco cheese knife for a staggering $100 before I sent this M & G back. I set up a cheese slicing event for the 3 adults in our family. We tested the M & G, and the Cutco on Cheddar and then the Cutco and Boska on Brie. We kept our opinions to ourselves as we went. But, everyone could see that all were struggling with this M & G and no one got even a single nice slice with it. At Brie time, we didn't bother with the M & G because we knew we would not keep it. The Cutco knife far outperformed the soft cheese Boska knife, as well. (Dutch Brand Boska Stainless Steel Soft Cheese knife, about $12 on Prime.)Well, if you have the money to spare, do not delay in buying the Cutco cheese knife. I can't even tell you how beautiful and easy it cuts a nice slice of cheese....it is nothing short of amazing with cheese. If you don't have a $100 for a Cutco cheese knife (and who does?), I don't even know what to recommend. Maybe that Prodyne one that looks like this M & G might be ok, we did not try it. I'm too enamored with the Cutco now. I'll be buying the Cutco knife when I need a wedding gift, etc.If you look at the Cutco website, I do not know of another cheese knife in all the world that has a double toothed blade like that...and I was scouring the world, even looking at European websites and European Amazon. You'd think the double serration would leave grooves in the cheese, but it does not. Not at all. Splurge on the Cutco if you can. If not, I'd say just use anything in the drawer.
