Wher have these noise reducers been all our life, we have tried everything...with a nip and tuck you can make them work perfectly...so happy I got them for the bedroom door and bathroom door...even I make noise sometimes...arrrgh and it travels downstairs to the nagbore...best to buy and try..x

Well it's not a pretty item lol but it was necessary (having a baby at home and the Dad didnt change his stupid habbits which one of them is to slam doors everywhere), it works fine but indeed it is too big (i live in the uk).I'm actually surprised that there's only one review saying its too big.

It simply doesn't work. My kid slammed the door as usual and the noise was the same. I don't know what was the concept of this. I think the only way it works is when you close the door super gently so the door mechanism doesn't click ....totally useless...If I wanted to close super gently I would not need it in the first place. Garbage. Save money, don't buy this piece of crap.

I had high hopes having read the reviews. Even if I had low hopes I'd have ended up disappointed.Poor quality and they don'f fit standard indoor UK size doors. Door won't close and there's they don't stop the sound of a door closing. I feel like a mug paying money for these and being duped by the sales pitch and reviews. Waste of money and time.

I purchased these because we have a family member who always 1/2 way turns the knob before yanking open every door they open, and banging shut every door they shut EVERY time they go through one. They do this no less than (not kidding) 15-20 times daily with the bathroom door one door up from our bedroom! Day and night BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG! I had to find something to quiet the noise! These door silencers looked so thin I thought they couldn't do the job, at first glance. But as soon as I put them on, quiet. She can twist the doorknob all she likes, but since it no longer engages, no more popping and loud clicking as she just shoves it closed. And since it wraps around the door, it keeps the door from being able to slam into the door jam! Again, silence. So easy to install and instant gratification, who could ask for more!!!

These are easy to use and only take a second to pop onto a door. They will muffle door closing noises quite a bit, but the door will still be pretty loud if it's slammed roughly. They aren't childproof in the sense that they can easily be removed/pulled off by children old enough to reach the doorknob, so be mindful of that if you have a child that's inclined to do that. They also cover the latch of the door, which will prevent it from locking, so it may not be the best solutions for areas like bathrooms. Overall, it reduces noise but there are a few drawbacks to be aware of.

Good quality product! The bands didn't snap even though I was stretching them way out getting them on a long handled door. The pad is nice and thick with a soft kind of heathered stitching effect on the outside.For me, I realized the door was slamming at the top, so I ended up using a basic glue stick to stick one of these door jammers on the top of the door. It still closes just fine, but now it's nice and quiet instead of going THUMP BUMP!

The media could not be loaded.  Like other reviewers have mentioned, these are too large to work. I think it’s because the elastic is too long. They are also quite thick - when I close the door it just pops back open, which isn’t how they’re supposed to work. Will return and try another brand.
