I bought this aquarium gravel to use in pebble trays for my house plants. The pebble trays raise the humidity around the plants. It worked great for that purpose but it did have a lot of dye runoff. I did pre-rinse the gravel in a colander and thought I had it all but was wrong. Some of the pebbles are so small about the size of the point on a sharp pencil. I'm glad I did the rinsing outside because the washed out particle can easily clog up a drain. The pebbles do look really nice and with a lot of rinsing and straining would look beautiful in an aquarium. The blue has multiple shades of blues and would give a tank a nice ocean look.
