Not that much sand
The amount of sand on the box is way more than the 1lb bag included. I added another pound of sand and it is much better. You are mainly paying for the sand tray and tools here.

Makes for a fun day
The children I work with love kinetic sand. I use this with kid friendly knives to practice cutting, make present food, and use molds to make figures. In low profile carpet, it is really easy to vacuum up. It also will stick to hands if it’s squeezed but it wipes off easily. Does not stain hands or clothes.
