I happen to have a vehicle that burns oil, so I carry a quart and a funnel. This funnel, with the top and bottom screw-on covers means I don't have to deal with residual oil. Perfect.

I was looking for a good sized funnel to assist with changing the oil in my motorhome. I wanted one with a large diameter opening as well as a decent capacity. This funnel seems to fit the bill. Having the caps on the ends is a nice touch. Before first use I thought I would check how well the caps work so I filled the lower end of the funnel with water and shook it. As you can see I did get some water coming out of the top opening. It seems to be coming from the area where the threads cross the seam. The smaller cap was just fine. I think that having the caps on the ends will definitely help contain any remnants of oil within the funnel.***Update*** I went to use the funnel for the first time yesterday when changing the oil in my motorhome. Unfortunately the opening is to big to fit into the filler neck of the 6.8L V10 gas engine rendering it useless to me so I'm returning it. In fact, the overall size of the funnel is to big for my application. If it did fit into the filler neck the top of the funnel would be so high that I couldn't manage holding it and pouring a quart of oil. It'd be more than 6' off the ground. Definitely measure the filler neck opening to see if this would fit.

nice well made funnel. i used it to attach to a leaf blower as a way to broadcast beneficial predatory insects into the leaf canopy of trees.

I really like these funnels. They stay clean on the inside. You can always clean them by putting some solvent inside a shaking. I have two different spout sizes. This one will NOT fit a modern car's fuel opening.

I was very disappointed when I opened the box to find that this funnel was made in communist China.

Keeping the inside of 2 cycle fuel funnels has always been a pain because of the oil residue that traps dust and dirt. This solves that problem perfectly!
