I don't normally like ball-point pens but they have to be used a lot nowadays for carbonless form-filling and the like, so I suffer them.Having bought the Parker Duofold fountain pen - which is a joy to write with - I thought I may as well indulge myself with the matching ball-point pen and suffer using such a pen a little less, given that I have to use one from time to time.Remembering how smoothly the Parker broad-point ballpen refills wrote when I worked for a stationer many years ago, I ordered the broad refill to go in the pen. What a revelation! The pen itself is of some substance (which is always reassuring), looks very classy and is comfortable to hold and writes very smoothly.I cannot recommend this pen highly enough, even if you do not get the Duofold fountain pen. Write with is pen and you will not want to use a cheap or disposable pen again.

This was bought as a present and looked nice, well presented and was of excellent quality. The only minor niggle I have was that on the advert it says blue ink so I bought a couple of black refills however, when it arrived it was black ink.

Bought as a present for my fiancé and he loves it. Its very elegant and his colleagues complement it.

Previously owned one which was stolen. Decided to treat myself to a Birthday present.It is a pleasure to write with, the weight and feel are perfect for me.

Have purchased a few top of the range ballpoint pens recently, all from Waterman, with no complaints. This Parker was more expensive than the others. However, I was very disappointed with the quality of the "twist to open" mechanism, which is very loose in operation, and not in my opinion up to the standard of a pen selling for in excess of £100. I decided to return the item to Amazon who dealt with the return/refund promptly.

I bought two - one that was shipped directly as a Birthday present and I bought one also. With mine, the twist action makes the top come off as you unwind which is quite embarrassing when you are showing off your new "Gold plated" pen to people!! Sent it back for a full refund. Just hope the one that I sent as present works fine!

This is an excellent pen, and it look great too.This pictures on Amazon do a great job showing the pen.The pen's barrel is sturdy, thought it's a little top heavy.

I love Parker pens and when I saw they came out with the historical colors I had to buy them. This pen is finely crafted and perfectly balanced. A pleasure to write with.

Un Duofold est un stylo que je rêvais d'avoir depuis des années mais n'utilisant plus de plumes, je me suis "rabattu" sur une bille.La prise en main est très agréable bien que ce stylo ne soit pas très équilibré: toute la masse est en haut, ce qui tend à le faire pencher vers le dessus de la main , ce à quoi je ne suis pas habitué.Les matériaux semblent d'excellente qualité, le tube de résine est très agréable et surtout jamais aussi froid qu'un corps métallique.J'adore ce stylo.
