This book ain't too bad. It's not the number one most exciting book for understanding the crossroads between comics and rhetoric, but it's a solid second if you are forced to read it for class, etc. Every other textbook is far more boring than this one, but it is a little dry in some areas. Still, more textbooks should be like this one!

He reading with not much fuss
My son is reading this for one of his summer reads... he's reading the comet style writing with not much fuss. I'll see how effective next semester when he must use it for his course work.

Um...Sort of get this...
I had to buy this for my class on Rhetoric. I appreciate the style this text is written in - like a graphic novel. The other the text books in this course are dry and boring to read - this added a bit of levity. But it is a tad weird to be using a comic book as a college text.

You can learn from comics!
I wish all my textbooks were graphic novels. I'm a visual learner, this book is captivating and so easy to follow. It's witty and very helpful without any boring jargon. Best to rent it considering how expensive it is. I keep mine on hand for writing any papers.

Excellent book, excellent shipping.
A textbook in the form of a comic book. Some may call it crazy, some may say that it's counter intuitive to learning, but I've never seen an entire class actually do the required reading for a class until now. Very good book, and it shipped rapidly, as well.
