BARWA 3pc Doll Clothes Black Tuxedo Suit with Tie White Shirt, Pants and Jacket for 12 inch Boy Doll

Was hard to get the clothes on Ken doll at first but once it is on, it’s nice!

I’m an adult Barbie aficionado and with New Year AND an inauguration on the horizon, I wanted formalwear for my dolls. I’m fairly well fixed for gowns, but nothing for the two fellas. This set was a little disappointing to say the least. The shirt was reminiscent of something Fabio would wear on the cover of a paperback Bodice-ripper after the giant, 70’s Bow-tie that was glued to it went bye-bye. This is perhaps because of the lack of a button placket- even a fake one. It’s too big to go under a jacket but owing to the 3/4 length sleeves, unsuitable for wearing on it’s own. It also doesn’t open wide enough. In short, the shirt is a total wash. As to the jacket & trousers my bulkiest Ken was nearly SWIMMING in it but the pants- which were made of a different fabric from the Jacket- were quite slim; the juxtaposition of scale is distracting. Everything was crumpled and needed pressing. I’m not sure if you’ve ever pressed a tiny blazer but it’s not my idea of a fun Saturday night! And just to top it all off- there was no Vest or Cummerbund; if you aren’t going to bother with satin or velvet on the lapels or a stripe on the trousers, how is this a tuxedo? I had to MAKE a cummerbund; making tiny cummerbunds ranks just ABOVE ironing tiny sport-coats on my list of things I want to do of an evening. I Definitely would not purchase again- even for a child to play with. This was about the same price as the name brand sets but not as good.

Cute as can be! Very nicely made. The shirt sleeves are a little short, and it is hard to get on, but I opened the back seam and added more velcro so it does not have to slip over the doll head. The pants and jacket fit perfectly. Really nice quality. Wish shoes came with it.

Barbie is very behind by not providing more clothes for the Broad Ken line... finally found a suit that actually fits!

Really nice!I cropped the jacket, took off the bow tie and kept the pants as they were (they were too tight for "G.I.Joe", "KEN" and "Click and Play" male dolls.It made a very business suit for Barbie "Nikki" (Black) doll.

My sister in laws granddaughters just needed another tux for their Ken doll. Now he is all set to marry Barbie. Good price for the item
