I did not think I was going to be able to repair one of my favorite lamps when the handle for the on-off switch broke off. A friend of mine told me about these and they solved my problem beautifully.

I needed to replace the switch on a lamp that was over 50 years old. The seller's description and pictures of the product made my buying process easy. The item arrived as promised, within two days.

For whatever reason our nice 3-way lamps came with the plastic knobs. My wife likes to leave the lights on the brightest setting which causes the knobs to soften from heat. So much to the point it would just spin on the shaft and you’d have to unplug the lamp to get it to turn off. Not anymore!

It is a big improvement over the plastic knob that comes with the lamp socket switch I also purchased.

Love the light switch, but the extensions are slightly off. Technically they'd screw together, but not very sturdy. I used the old extensions for the new switch and it's a better fit. It's now tight and sturdy. I'm thinking if I used the extensions that came with the switch, it would have broken the switch eventually.

I got these to replace a long, straight metal knob missing on a floor lamp. The screw connected to the bulb base is recessed, which is why I got these (in addition to their classic look). However, while each key knob worked when directly connected to the base screw, when I added the extender, I was turning to no effect. The key portion seems to insert itself well onto the extender, but the torque of twisting the light on seems to too much to have both parts work together. I tried both combinations, and neither extender worked. I managed to only just connect the key part directly to the screw, and I will be using it this way. It's not what i paid for, so beware if you really need the added length.

Used these to add length to a key to fit in an old lamp. Look rather flimsy, but seem to work well.

For some reason these have been very hard to find locally. Good price, great quality, and like the little extender.
