Flasher LED White or Blue PCB with Battery Box for Dummy Alarm Siren Security Bell Flash Box 2-3 years battery life

I have an older Yale HSA dummy siren which is not equipped with LED lights.Rather than buy the latest Yale siren with LEDs, I decided to upgrade using this circuit board.The circuit board clips perfectly into the blue perspex lens of the siren when viewed from the outside, the LEDs and PCB look like an authentic part of the siren.A reviewer mentioned having a problem with the middle battery popping out, I secured the batteries (Lithium Recommended) with a cable tie and attached the battery pack to the siren lid with some heavy-duty velcro. (Amazon - VELCRO Brand Heavy Duty Stick On Tape Cut-to-Length Industrial Extra Strong Double Sided Hook & Loop Self Adhesive Tape).I purchased the White LED version. The alternating lights are bright and are easily visible in daylight. All-in-all… I’m very happy with this purchase, as it's easy to install and much cheaper than buying a new dummy siren.

Perfect for my Dummy Alarm Box. Absolutely brilliant. Love it.

The white LED's are bright and can be seen behind an amber Perspex lens. The LED board and the connected battery holder are small and neat. The two lights are just far enough apart and alternate, each being on for a short period. For my application I would have liked the cables a little longer. I cut the two wires and soldered extension wires between, enabling the battery to be further away from the LED board. That's my only suggestion for improvement. But very happy as this saved me spending far more on a totally new device.

As another reviewer did, I installed this in a Yale dummy siren box. Easy 5-minute job, good fit and works brilliantly. I also used (3x) Energiser lithium batteries which should ensure no more batteries needed for some time.

Initially I was very happy with this LED unit, the lights are very bright and was easy to install in a dummy alarm box. What lets it down is a poor battery holder, it holds three AA batteries and while two are held in securely the unit I received has a problem with the middle battery keeps popping out. After installing it into an alarm box I've had to get up a ladder twice to reinstall a battery that's ejected itself from its holder. I've now just duct taped the batteries in place hoping that will fix the issue.

Much brighter that I thought.
