P-4 OZ Poultry Nutri-Drench

This small jar is packed with vitamin granules to be dissolved in a jug of water. I use an empty gallon water bottle. The hens seem to like it. I keep it in the coop and give them a fresh bowl each day.

I had no idea that chicks and ducks need vitamins sometimes as well as extra vitamin D in order to assimilate calcium. The lady at the local farm store told us they really need this particular vitamin and it is spoke of on the website, "Backyard Chickens". It is the same price on Amazon so we are never without it now. Whenever one stops eating from cold, age etc. we give a syringe or two in the mouth for a few days. We have learned to give it right on the food nearly every day for upkeep now and have not lost any birds since.

I am a hobby chicken keeper with 50 to 70 birds at any given time. This can be used as a general tonic for all chickens, or one at a time while in hospital. Fabulous stuff! Always works to build back your chicken's health, stamina and vigor. Would not be without it.

We bought 22 baby chicks 3 weeks ago and all of them are doing fantastic (we lost several 5 years ago). We had 4-5 with “pasty butt”, so I did some research and found this stuff. So far they are all thriving and doing well! It’s a little pricey and a dosage-based dropper would have definitely helped, but otherwise very pleased and will purchase again if any problems arise again.

This is the first year I have used this product and its the first year I haven't lost a single guinea keet!!! Last year I lost about 30% of them due to health issues. This year they seem happy and strong even on the hottest days of August. I just ordered another bottle in case I run out. This product is a MUST HAVE for anyone raising poultry!! Pays for itself for the amount of birds it saves, also no more of the heartache of dealing with sick dying birds. Worth Every Penny!!!

Always need this for extra vitamin boost for your flock. We always make sure to give this to chicks of every kind to help prevent wry neck. Also worked great for our emus when they were chicks.
