Prestige Medical Nurses Utility Scissors, Glacier

So far so good, no complaints. I got bored on a one to one observation shift and started cutting things at work just to see if they compared to some higher cost scissors I've had in the past. Well, these definitely did... they quickly and easily cut through a large roll of coban, a roll of medical tape, felt and velcro tabs on pull/slide sheets and a washcloth with little stress on my chubby fingers!... I'll probably purchase these again after I lose them like I did all my others! lol

Not too much you can say about a pair of scissors... as with most bandage scissors they aren't super sharp, but they get the job done, they're better than the disposables we have at the hospital... I like the color very much, it's pretty accurate to the picture. They're not 100% as pictured, they have a little plastic protective cap on the tip of the blade rather than just having a rounded blade as the picture shows. Over all I like them and would recommend.

They work like they're supposed to, but for a brand new pair they feel like they're old and rusted. It's not a clean cut, you have to really work for it. Even with putting oil on them, they still feel like they have rust in the middle when they cut. I was gonna return but they took 2 weeks to get here so I guess I'll just deal.

Not much to say about a pair of scissors except that they are sharp enough to cut well and I know I can rely on these as a nurse in an acute care hospital. I carry these around in my scrub pocket so the safety edges at the bottom are nice so I don't get jabbed in the stomach when not in use.

Our dog had leg surgery and the scissors we had been using did not get thru the newest set of bandages. He was pretty afraid of trying to get under the bandage with the old ones. I ordered these, they came in 1 day and did the job. They are pretty substantial and sharp enough to get thru the thickest part of the gauze. The tip protector keeps the blade away from skin.

Good size. I work in an ER and these are perfect for what I need. Big enough to work fast to cut off a patient's clothes in a hurry. Light enough to carry in my scrub pocket without weighing me down.

I ordered these a few weeks ago, after about a week of waiting for them to arrive my post office left me a notice saying that postage wasn’t paid and I would need to pay the postage to pick them up or they would send them back to the seller. I picked them up because honestly I wasn’t worried about the unpaid postage, paid it and went about my day. Used them the next day to cut a splint off of a patient and while they seem sturdy, the blade seem very choppy/cuts are jagged, they don’t cut as smoothly as other scissors I have used. Overall, they’re a decent scissor for the price but I think next time I will spend a little more on a high quality scissor.

I really want to like these scissors because they’re cute and do *pretty* well cutting. My problem is the little plastic piece on the end that was not advertised in the picture. It is usually too large to get under tape/wrap enough to even do the job. Without the giant nubbin, these would be perfect.
