I bought this after Christmas. I had been visiting with In-Laws who had a similar item they purchased at a local grocery store a couple of years prior. I went on Amazon to find the same or similar product. This is very similar, but not the same. I was concerned about it being shipped. It arrived intact. When I put the batteries in, everything worked perfectly! After it ran for a few days, the batteries (which were lightly used to begin with) ran down, the glitter swirled slower and then the light went out. I put fresh batteries in and it works perfect. I love it!

I was really surprised at how solid and heavy it is (in a good way). It feels stable and solid. It is beautiful when you turn it on and is perfect since we have two kids under two. Really love it!!

I love this but I just got it makes a lot of noise when it is on. What’s with that? I am trying to decide if I should return it. I wrote this review yesterday and I let the globe sit overnight off and now the noise stopped. Sooo good news I am going to keep it. I don't think it likes being upside down. I had turned it upside down to put the batteries in and it was that way for a while. I really think in shipping it doesn't like being upside down either. It should have on the packaging keep upright at all times.

Very nice product

This is the second one I purchased because I thought the first one I returned may have been a fluke. For this second one, I used the Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries. But, just like the first one, within 1 1/2 hours the glitter came to a very slow spin, then soon after the glitter completely stopped spinning, leaving only the candle's flame on top lit, which went out completely within a couple hours after that. It might look very pretty on Amazon, but don't fall for that. Trust me, DO NOT purchase this. You'll regret it.

Heavy and sturdy it won’t tilt. It’s a nice decoration for Christmas. The only thing that threw me off was that it has a motor that makes the glitter inside rotate and move around, having a snow globe affect. It is a bit loud but nothing crazy though. After a while I got used to it and didn’t mind it. It does need AA batteries which are not included. I did add my own little berry wreath ring around it for a better look. I put the febreeze bottle next to it so you guys can get the idea of how tall and wide it is.

This is a nice product. Only issue is that we wish it had more volume to the movement of the glitter. That is a little weak and a few times we had to shake it because glitter blocked it from creating movement.
