I have been looking for a duet bench (duet meaning two people for all the other “duet benches” for sale that are the same size as a single person bench) for a long time. If they were actually the length you would expect, they cost at least a couple thousand dollars. My grand piano is almost 8 feet long and it now has a bench that looks like it belongs. I bought the black glossy version, which looks great, even though my piano is mahogany and I did get a very nice matching bench when I bought it. But my husband is learning and it is so nice to both sit on the same bench and even have room for our music loving cat.The bench is beautifully made with real leather and deep tufting. It’s not plush but is still very comfortable and I like how how it makes me sit up, and I didn’t have to adjust it from the way it came. The packaging was exceptional so it arrived in perfect condition. The legs had to be attached with a wrench that was included. Only took a few minutes. No difficult directions. Absolutely gorgeous!I also appreciated the hand written note from Austin thanking me for my purchase and asking me to contact them if I had any questions or issues. Nice personal touch! And I couldn’t be happier with it.

I have to admit that I was a little nervous buying this bench because if it wasn't what I wanted then I'd have to deal with the hassle of sending it back, but I have been very happy with it. When you sit at the piano for hours on end, it's really important to have the right bench that won't cause pain in the body. I've found this bench to be comfortable and perfect for my needs.The amount of storage space is far more limited than a traditional piano bench that gives a nice big space to put books and other things. This one allows for some thin books. If storage space is important to you, this is something you'll need to consider.I would say the bench is sturdy for the most part. We've needed to tighten things up again once, and I can feel that it is just slightly less than perfectly sturdy. It's possible there is error on our parts in putting it together, or it could be the bench itself. If you are a heavier person, this is something to consider, though it's possible the bench could be fortified in another way. I'm not sure, but it's a thought.Overall, I'm personally very happy with it as my biggest concern has been being able to sit for long periods without having pain in my lower back. I also like how large it is so that someone else could sit with me for a duet; and, of course, having a spot for the cat.

Overall bench is sturdy, beautiful and very functional. Great size for 2 people.

I purchased this adjustable piano duet size bench hoping to be more comfortable while playing. It definitely exceeded my expectations, I was able to play without back, leg or foot pain. The cushioned seat was very comfortable. I do wish it had more storage space though. It was easy to assemble and sturdy enough to hold me up (I am a big gal) I would definitely recommend this product to anyone!

So, lots are commenting on the lack of storage in this bench. IMHO, the bench storage is for what's being played (or about to be). If one needs more room I recommend getting a book case. This bench has plenty of space for the music books, sheet music, & i-pad I use. It's very sturdy, I do have it raised (and it hasn't moved down yet after almost a year). It arrived with one of the sides damaged, and the Seller was outstanding in replacing it. I'm not a fan of the buttons in the seat, but it's comfortable to sit and play for an hour. All in all, It matches my gloss-black piano, and looks like it belongs to it. I'm happy.

A beautiful bench that compliments my Yamaha baby perfectly! I needed a little more height to view my music (through my progressive lenses! 🙄).
